Laura J.: The media could not be loaded. Well I’d hope to have a silent pump but it’s pretty darn close. It’s quieter than the bubbles so that’s good! It arrived quickly and very well packaged. I do appreciate the extras. I’m using the suction cups to hold air tubes in place, why hadn’t I done this before? And the anti return valves. Air stone is a huge improvement over what I had replaced. Bubbles are great! My fish were wary of previous air stone since it broke and bubbles were as large as the fish. New bubbles are tiny and plentiful. I just hooked up pump to old tubing that was already in place. Not having any disconnect problems yet. Really it works well and I’d buy again.

GOKGOK: It works fine and is very quiet. My problem is the airline tubes keep disconnecting every day! Is there a trick to keeping them hooked on?
Update: I originally had them in a goldfish tank I keep outside. Yesterday I brought it in and placed in my 20 gallon tank. Been running for 24 hours and has not disconnected once. Maybe the heat outside had something to do with it. I live in sunny and hot Florida.

I figured out the noise was coming from the little air bubbler. Boy, is it noisy! I bought some different bubblers that I hope will fix the issue. Out of the two bubblers this pump comes with, it was only one out of the two that make noise.
I bought this for my red-eared slider turtle "Jack." He LOVES the bubbles! But, if you are looking for something a little quiet, I guess it depends on what your definition of quiet is. I would equate the noise to a constantly running toilet. if that doesn't drive you crazy, then this is for you. The air pump is easy to set up and quick to install.

Jose Juan Cruz: Me gusto la bomba, llevo 2 semanas con ella y esta trabajando bien, la potencia es buena y aunque esta pequeña tiene muy buen funcionamiento. Es un poco ruidosa pero diría que es lo normal, el mismo nivel de ruido que la bomba anterior así que yo no lo veo mal, pero si pensaban que es ultra silenciosa NO LO ES, repito lo normal, lo clásico.
100% Recomendada y feliz con la compra.

Aurora: El paquete llegó antes de tiempo. Solo que si hace un poco de ruido tanto la bomba de aire como la piedra de alimentación del aire en el tanque alimentación.
Me gustó bastante porque tiene dos entradas de aire, tiene buena presentación de aire y viene con dos adaptadores para evitar el paso del agua si se va la luz.
