Ian Smith: Because of previous experience, when looking for a new aquarium Air-Pump, I wanted to buy a unit that has metal outlet pipes for connection of flexible tubes; the illustrations in the advertising showed metal outlet pipes but when it arrived the delivered unit has plastic pipes I am disappointed, and not surprised that I have difficulty fitting the flexible tube and getting it to stay connected. Will not but again.

GDF: I tried many other competitors (who were branding low noise levels), but only this one (the hygger) was making a big difference.
The only disadvantage for me is that the tube keeps disconnecting (probably because the connector is in plastic and not metal -- combined with the vibration). But this might also be due to the type of air stone that I'm using that has a lot of air resistance.

T McCannT McCann: Pump works fine and is quiet, added a few pictures. Like the adjustable airflow and it has two out puts. Although the output seems only good for one tank. It only comes with just the pump, so if you need air stones, air line, T-connector or the recommended check value you need to order it. A lot of pumps include those extras. I was more interested in a quiet pump. I would recommend it.

ThomasThomas: Purchased this pump planning on running a large sponge filter and an air stone for my 110g stock tank pond. The pump is very quiet and compact which is ideal. However, I should have read the GPH output prior to makin the purchase because even though the title says 150g the GPH is only 160. The recommended GPH for 150g is at LEAST 550 GPH. This pump will cycle the water in the tank 1.6 times per hour. That is so far from the recommended rate. Very frustrated with the listing because I feel like it is misleading. However, I am also frustrated with myself because I did not read the details prior to making the purchase or prior to installing everything. Now I am stuck with it. That is okay though because I am sure I will be adding more tanks to my collection soon and this pump would be great for indoor use due to how quiet it is. I will just have ensure that the tank is 20g or so. Bummer.

Funtimes: The adjuster is finiky. I have different pumps that are quieter. It is not horrible just not as quiet as it claims.

Pam: Not really impressed with this pump. I have been running it for awhile now and no matter what i do the air flow is so inconsitant between the 2 ports. One is very strong and the other port barely pumps anything

- Just like all the other reviews say, this is a quiet air pump. It's not silent but puts out a small hum that's difficult to hear, even if you adjust the output to the max. It is however the quietest air pump I have ever come across.
- It puts out a generous amount of air, enough to power sponge filters in my 60g tank and 5g shrimp tank simultaneously. My aquatic pets seem to appreciate the extra airflow and water movement.
- It doesn't seem to generate much if any heat. Some other air pumps I've seen have a noticeably warm sensation on their housing, probably from the vibration of the diaphragm inside. This pump says it's magnetic, there's no vibration and you can barely tell it's on.
- The build quality seems solid, as of this writing I've had it on for three weeks, 24 hours a day, no issues so far.
Cons
- It's a little larger than other air pumps but that's a small trade off based on what it does.
- A little expensive but you get what you pay for.
