Mrs.Rhone: I like the look of this pump and it’s relatively quiet. I’m using this on 4 small sponge filters temporarily. It really isn’t strong enough for 4. I think it would power 2 small sponge filters adequately.

Erica Clemons: I got this in Oct 2022 and love it. It’s silent, super cute, and kicks ass in my 20g and 55g tanks. I use it for sponge filters only and it’s quite powerful which is perfect for my Oscar. I want to warn people that may not be aware: keep this elevated above your tank if you can. After using it for almost a year and loving it, I suddenly saw water coming in from the sponge filters back into this pump! I tried clearing the tubing and realized water was spitting back out of the pump at this point so it was a fire hazard and trashed it asap. It was pretty scary. I tried talking to my heavily trusted fish store in my area and basically didn’t use the right valve/may have lost power but I am positive that I didn’t/kept the pump below water level and it allowed to feed water into the entire set up I had used and trusted forever. Glad I wasn’t out of town! Just be ultra cautious

Brian Richards: I have 3 of these now. In general I like them - they are quiet, pump out oxygen well, come with some hosing and bubblers and splitters, which are all nice. My only complaint is the knob is very touchy. I wanted 2 of my tanks to run their sponge filters off of this, and run them somewhat low. The knob goes from "too much" to "nothing at all" too easily. I've set it to exactly where I want and it will run for an hour or two, and then either move itself to too high or nothing at all on its own, which is frustrating.

Amazon Customer: The air hose doesn’t stay connected and while it did make lots of bubbles in the beginning, it barely works now. Only had it for a couple months.

Karen B.: I bought this to replace a very, very loud air pump, which made this very annoying & loud humming sound. This new pump is not only significantly smaller but it's also practically silent. Like my old pump, it's hooked up to two sponge filters, one in my 20g tank & the other in my 10g. Not only is it practically silent but it's also very powerful. An added feature I like is that it has a small orange light at the back by the dial that shows it's powered up. Can't comment on it's longevity YET as I've only had it running a month & a half but, so far I am very happy with it
