Amanda Hansen: He loves it. My only complaint is the base pulls off the suction cups pretty easily. I put this above my desk in the window to get the cat out of my face while I am working...which works pretty nicely. However, if your cat is like mine, and wants to pay from there sometimes, and you have to grab him off bc he starts to chew on your fingers....if they grab the base it pulls right off. I caught both him and the seat, so no issues, but be careful with your little love biters, haha

TJTJ: Suction is great when screwed tight. Bottom suction cups are useless but they don't need to be good like the top ones. It's cheap and it feels it but when top suction cups are screwed tight, it is very stable. Little man is only 4 pounds right now but I pushed down on it with a good amount of pressure/weight and it did not fail. I have it about 5 1/2 ft. up the bay window and I definitely wouldn't do that if I didn't feel comfortable about it's abilities. Kitty loves it.

Anonymous: I bought this for my cat to sit on in my room. Unfortunately, I was missing the 2 additional suction cups. Meanwhile, the suction cups I did have were faulty. The first 2 suction cups stuck easily, but the last 2 were misshapen and hardly stuck to the window. After 20 minutes of trying they finally stuck, but they only remained stuck for less than an hour. After that no matter what I tried the 2 suction cups would not stick (I tried pretty much every internet trick), the cups wouldn't even completely press down and lock. The whole product was useless with the faulty suction cups

It is big enough for my fully grown female cat and my 6 month old male kitten, but I may need to buy an extra one when the male is fully grown. It’s super easy to set up, and the materials seem like great quality. Would definitely recommend for anyone!!!

JillJill: All 3 of my cats love this thing! They will pile on top of each other so they can all be on it at once. If I had more window space I’d buy one for each of them!

It didn’t come with assembly instructions or directions of any kind but it was fairly straightforward to put together. The first day, one of the suction cups came loose from the window but that was because the glass had some dust on it. I cleaned the window and the suction cups and it hasn’t come off since.

The materials are fairly cheap quality but the construction is solid so I’m not worried about it breaking. It comes with 2 extra suction cups for some reason. I wonder if the suction cups are prone to failure as they age? Hopefully not, but I’m going to hold onto the extra suction cups just in case.

jdmba: Here's what I found for what its worth:

1) There are arguments in the comments as to whether there are, or are not, instructions; with some commentators saying "Its on the box." Perhaps there are different boxes, as the box I got had NO instructions of any kind. It was fairly easy to figure out how to put together, if for no other reason than only 1 side of the canvas has holes to pass the wires through; but I can confirm that in MY shipment on the box I got, there were no instructions on it, or in it.

2) You need to decide if you want a solid base, or more of a hammock. This is a hammock. If your cats would prefer a solid base, this is not the choice for you.

3) There is NO method to affix the suction cups to the base. They are supposed to remain in the tubes where you stick them based on gravity. I would say this is not a great design, because cat's push off of things. They do not levitate up and then move forward like an Air Force Harrier. This can be solved by drilling a hole clean through the pipe with the suction cup already through it, and inserting a screw. C.J. MosesC.J. Moses: Don’t buy this low-quality junk! When I opened this product, I noticed immediately that the cheap canvas that holds the cat had a big hole in it already, as shown in the photo. I am pretty crafty, so I thought maybe I’d just repair it myself and make a cover out of newly sewed fabric instead of going through the hassle of a return. The canvas material is extremely cheap, thin, and scratchy. It does not come with the pad in the photo. It’s more like a cheaper, thinner version of a reusable grocery bag stretchy around PVC. Not comfortable or good looking at all.

I wasn’t sure if the material would even hold a full-grown cat, but I tried anyway. I put a little cat bed pad on top of the hammock to see if my cat even liked the idea of a window hammock. He actually loved the concept of it and the fact that he could relax to watch the birds/squirrels from a secret perch above the dogs. However, within 15 minutes of hanging out on the hammock that I planned to repair, the whole thing collapsed inward and he was thrown down suddenly!
