Kathryn: This is the perfect sports umbrella for sitting at your child's soccer game! Works perfectly at adjusting to different positions to keep your face out of the sun, if not your whole body. Often I sit next to others who shuffle in to also seek shade under my umbrella since it has such a large canopy.

On the downside, I read in the reviews here about the clamp breaking and unfortunately after exactly 1 year of use, the same thing happened to me. I emailed Sportsbrella for warranty support and they wrote back asking for my address to send me a kit to fix the broken clamp. The following week the "kit" arrived which was just a screw and bolt. Apparently it's the long screw inside the clamp that was the issue. When I removed the old screw, it was evident that it was unusually worn and the threads bent toward the middle. In any case, after removing the old one and installing the new one, the clamp works again. So happy for such an easy fix! And love that the Sportsbrella team was able to offer this simple solution rather than returning the umbrella since I rely on it so much. Very pleased overall and would recommend this umbrella to anyone!

Chase: I got this about a year and a half ago. First of all I use this on both my walkers, one handle is round one handle os square and i use it on the back handle of my wheelchair. It'd been the best investment ever! I really struggle with my health in all weather's. It protects me from the heat in the summer, the rain in the spring and fall, and because it is fully adjustable I can maneuver it to fully cover me from my walker and the back of my wheelchair which is not parallel to where I sit. It's still holding strong a year and a half later and it only comes off in the winter and is constantly getting put in and out of the back pf cabs and being used. It only has a very small wear marl at the top connecting junction from wear, travel and use. I will probably buy a second one when I get my new wheelchair so I don't have to keep taking it on and off constantly. This is a must purchase item if ur looking for weather coverage. Highly recommend. Very well made! And ment to last! It does wobble a bit but I believe that is to prevent it from snapping in the wind just a heads up for new users.

AlinaAlina: I really like it. You can attach it on any 1" round support. I have used a pole I had that I have repurposed, because the edge of my balcony is not suitable. But you can attach it to a chair, a stroller, etc. Good size to provide shade for one person. I wish it was a larger size, but it's good enough for my balcony.

KM: Update: OK, 3 Months in, and I'm still pretty happy. Nothing is broken, but the inability to pivot the canopy was enough to force me to modify this a bit. I found a 1/2" copper tube (from plumbing) fits over the umbrella tube perfectly, so I cut the bottom section right in the middle, and added a slightly longer piece of copper tube over it. Gravity holds the umbrella in, but I taped it at the middle joint, just so I could have something to grip. Now, when I circle the block, I can just pivot the direction of the umbrella to match the sun, without having to stop and readjust every joint, just to find the sweet spot for the next 100 feet. (I'm on kind of a circular block, so the sun is an ever moving target as I walk.)

I still use this every day that the wind is low enough. Wind is a factor in all umbrellas, & this is no different, but it is a pretty big sail, so controlling it, & the rollator, & the dogs is too much for me on breezy days. An absolute joy on non-breezy days, and I'm grateful to have it. The added couple inches in height was a benefit, too.
