V. C.: This knife is fantastic. It has gone on many dives, both fresh and salt, over the seven years I have had it; it looks like the day I bought it. The blade is practically rust-proof and very sharp. The leg straps are sturdy and don't slip, and they show no signs of tearing. The sheath holds the knife securely. The whole thing feels flimsy and cheap, but I have had no problems with it falling apart. All in all, it is a great knife for the money.

Colby: I used this knife for everything except cutting firewood while living out of my camper van for a year on a long trip.
It wasn't always the right knife for the job, but I was always able to get the job done with it.
There are sharper knives out there, but none of them can take the punishment this knife did without rusting or getting dull.

Maggie73: Super happy so far… No signs of rust. Or use it in the ocean but rinse both pieces separately and allow to dry before putting away. I did not like the strap that came with it but I simply purchased a different more elastic style strap. I think it is an excellent piece so far, my only complaint is that although it locks in tight ( super happy so far no signs of rust. I think it is an excellent piece so far, my only complaint is that although it locks in tight, so far I’m not comfortable with a quick removal… Maybe practice but it doesn’t feel natural. All fine unless I need it in a matter of a second (shark?). It does lock in nice and snug. The reviewers who say it does not (or say it rattles) have probably not pushed it in all the way… It’s like a two-step clip. It does rattle if you do not push it into the second “click”. Hopefully they will read one of these reviews and it can help them enjoy the knife more! Anyway, super happy overall and would recommend to a friend...
