Braden: To be honest, I was expecting this thing to fall off after a week like the rest.
Boy, was I wrong!
It's been a long time, perhaps a month or two, and I love this handle set.
It's easy to use and locks on tight with our sliding door.

I highly recommend this handle set, especially because it is made of metal instead of plastic.

JayInWI: Our 12 year old door handle broke and this was a perfect replacement.
It looks different than the original version but adds a bit of a modern look.
This handle is much sturdier than the original version and has a good grip and makes it easier to close or open when carrying stuff.
Installation was a snap with just 2 screws that were included.
If somehow this one breaks, I'd buy another of the same thing.

T. H. Winkless: It arrived vast. It used ordinary Phillips head screws to install. It feels sturdy. I'm going to help it with a vacuum cup handle, but it's cool.

Amazon Customer: Love the indoor portion of this handle in that it offers a bit more room for one’s hand to grab and pull the door. My only problem was the backside/outdoor handle was too short for the existing holes ( Bought this as a repair item). Thought I had it assembled, looked outside and saw a hole exposed above the exterior handle. Put in a new lock and ended up using the old back handle with the new inside handle. It works! As a new set it would be perfect. Just check all measurements on BOTH sides of the door to ensure you get the right handle.

Christine: It was easy to figure out how to install, but all the screws provided didn’t fit my door. My door is 1.25” thick. Eventually I had to use the screws from my old handle to get the new handle to not be wobbly. So now it’s good, but I’m annoyed because I had to use my own screws. 😐
If the screws don’t hold I’ll ask for a refund.

Hyung: I purchased this to 1224 replace my 1204 that cracked like the pictures in its review (the screws in the wood handle also wore out). My door is 1-3/4" thick, with 3-15/16” hole spacing, no lock, so I tried this item because it looked stronger with thicker metal. This kit has no lock and no latching assembly, as stated in the description, but it does have that little black lever thing. The screw heads are painted black to match. Amazon sells other items that include the inside latching assembly.

This 1224 model arrived in good condition, and with three different length screw sets. The longest screw set worked for me. The "outside" part has more tapped posts to accept screws than in one of the pictures and worked fine. It's smooth painted metal. I waxed it with Soft99 fusso coat because why not?

My only complaints, I did like the style of the 1204 with the rectangle handle over this curved one, but didn't want to chance it cracking again (I think my door is too heavy for the 1204). The lever thing does seem to bind a little when I move it up and down, but once it's not so hot outside I'll take it apart again and check if I did something wrong. My old "outside" handle...

FlyinggemsFlyinggems: We have a Nuconn sliding patio door. In 2009 the handle broke and we tried everywhere to replace it. We could not find a suitable one. The company offered a Handle Kit for $140 plus shipping. We ended up ordering a handle from Amazon.
The Cambridge Sliding Door Handle 3-15/16" soles and up to 1-3/4 inch Thick Doors model #88070051. We were happy with the inside handle but ended up using the original lock and outside handle.

10 years late the original outdoor handle has broken. The part that the screw, screws into has broken off. You can see a black spot in the picture were it has broken off the handle.

We returned to order the handle again and they no longer have it in stock. In searching we found this handle, Prime-Line C 1225. We searched around and found that Lowes carries it in stock at our local store but for double the price. We ordered from Amazon using Prime and it was here in 2 days.

It was very easy to install. All parts lined up and the locking mechanism fit fine. No adjustments needed. Took us about 10 minutes in total to remove the old handle and install the new one. One person job but easier with two.
