Susan S: What an amazing product! I make waffles at least once a week & have been searching for a waffle maker that I can truly be happy with. This ticks all the boxes! Even heating,no need to pre-spray, thick perfectly cooked waffles in less than 4 minutes!! Built-in timer ! I'll never buy another brand, this 1 is absolutely perfect... I couldn't improve upon a thing! Thank you for such a great product!

L. Davis: Caveat: I have only used this waffle maker twice. Both times the waffles were just the way I like them, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The nonstick surface worked perfectly. As the instructions point out, the timer does not turn the unit on or off, just like the hotel waffle makers (although with the hotel machines the timer starts automatically, while the Presto timer requires pressing a button). The vertical storage position let me fit the machine into an odd corner of a cabinet that could not be used for pots or pans. The plastic latch that holds the machine in the vertical position is thin and flexible, but works well enough. My one complaint is that there is no way to latch the two handles together for storage, so I used a large rubber band. I would deduct half a star for that.
(Edit) About three weeks later, and the waffle maker continues to work perfectly. I modified the recipe for Krusteaz Belgian Waffle Mix by adding 3 tablespoons of malted milk powder and a little extra water - just under a cup of the batter gives you a full, round waffle almost like the ones in the ads. I like this waffle maker!

kipkoech: Easily portable ie compact and make good waffles (nothing to compare with since i've bought two such makers).
The first one stopped working and just replaced it, I took the blame since i had once washed in water and thought that might have ruined it (electronics).
Got the second one, was careful while cleaning but stopped working after a while. Looked up on Youtube what could be wrong found a guy that said his broke because the fuse burned up. I assumed i had the same problem, bought the fuse and replaced it without really thinking much. It still did not work. This forced me to disassemble further and noticed that one of the wires was cut due to friction due to the turning/ flipping motion at the corners. Replaced the wire and now it's working again. I should not have really replaced the fuse but i guess that's what happens when you fix without knowing what you're fixing. Will update you how long 'my repair' last.
Things that are non-issue to me but bother others
- timer kinda stops working after a while
- can't adjust heat

Lilia and NikLilia and Nik: Overall, its a good waffle maker. The reason I can’t give 5 stars is because apparently most of them have a defect. I tried to exchange and received one with the same issue. I contacted the company asking for a discount. They said that this a a very common problem but since this defect doesn’t affect the utility, they won’t discount it. It is quite unsatisfactory and unfair to buy something that has such a big dent and to pay full price. Also, it makes super thick waffles which are not the best if you have small kids. My kids struggle to eat them and many times they just give up on them.

Catherine: I've never had something that was non stick actually be truly non stick until I tried this waffle maker. The cooking surface is ceramic. My recipe has melted butter in it but other than that, I add no oil to the cooking grids and my waffles don't stick. In fact, the instructions tell you not to grease the grids. I was skeptical until I tried it. Cleaning up the waffle maker used to be the worst part of making waffles but not now. You just wipe it with a cloth and you're done. You probably don't even need to do that, that's how clean it is. It makes beautiful thick (1.5") waffles. It preheats quickly (about 4 mins) and cooks quickly (4 mins). It really is a joy to use and you will find yourself making waffles more often because it isn't the chore it used to be. I highly recommend this waffle maker.

My only caution is that the warranty says it is only valid in the U.S. If Amazon is selling an American product in Canada with no warranty, they should clearly state this on the product listing. I hope nothing goes wrong with it because it is on the expensive side compared to the US and the price seems to have gone up in recent years.

Sergio Aguilar: Busque diferentes opciones y me decidí por esta, fundado en las opiniones de otras personas y sus reseñas, he confirmado que es una opción excelente, requieres de aproximadamente 8 minutos por waffle y quedan bien. Así lo han manifestado varias amistades y familia y yo mismo por supuesto. Es muy recomendable y quedan como hechos con máquina profesional, aunque a menor velocidad, pero no los quiero para vender, así que no es problema.

Time and quantity per serving may not suit everyone if time is always short and many mouths to feed that are impatient, but please read on. The ACTUAL time per waffle (not including your mix prep), is 3+ min to warm machine is quick, & then 4-5 min Per Waffle, (+/- seconds you apply to preference, like crispier...) & by how many you need to make-do the math! A full 1-cup (max) of waffle batter cooked is actually much larger than a frozen square you toast (probably 3 of them) and breaking one into the four sections that are created by design will certainly get any 4 kids started until you produce another in 4-5 minutes. While cooking, you fill your measure at the ready, when-beep/open/remove/plate/pour a new one & set timer/flip/serve 4 pc/& repeat. Process goes that quick and really not that much more time IMO. By then, maybe they want another piece or just a couple bites, you know how kids eat! Again, this size of waffle halved as two servings for adults may be enough for most, so waiting for more may not be that big a deal. I am a larger eater and I could barely finish one whole myself if that...
