MM0227: We've made buttermilk waffles 5 times on the WAF-300P1 model, comes out perfect on setting of 4. My 15 month old loves these waffles! We follow the basic buttermilk recipe in the enclosed directions except we use 3/4 proportions on the dry ingredients against the wet ingredients (the batter is too thick following the exact recipe). Super easy to use, takes about 5 min to pre-heat and similar amount of time to cook. Super easy to clean.

Fernando Villegas: Es buena, creo que lo que le hace falta es un par de placas mas para hacer sándwich, ahora los niveles que tiene digamos que son inutiles, ya que en los mas bajos creo te los deja casi crudos (no estan crudos), y en el mas alto, te los deja crujientes (los wafles) pero muy negros, que pensarias que se han quemado, pero no estan quemados, asi que no que dan con buena presentacion, no he probado con hotcakes ya que no se compro para eso, si no para wafles. esta bien mi mujer es la que queria pero creo que si lo que buscas es hacer wafles hay opciones mas baratas, mucho mas baratas y que los dejan un poco menos crujientes pero con muy buena apariencia.

Baldy: Like many other reviewers, we chose this model because the plates came out for cleaning. That feature is fantastic. Only downside, and it's big one, is that this is a relatively low-wattage device, meaning that it takes a VERY long time to cook waffles or pancakes to where we like them--nice a golden crisp. Like 10 minutes. It also takes at LEAST that long to warm up. Beware: Start cooking early!

MarciKMarciK: The media could not be loaded.  When our old Belgian waffle maker (the round kind) died, I wasn’t too keen on replacing it because, well, it was such a pain to use/clean/store that I barely used it to begin with. But then I started to realize how much I was spending monthly on frozen waffles for my kids and decided to invest in a new waffle maker.

My kids vacillate between waffles and pancakes most days, and I’ve resorted to the frozen variety out of convenience, but also because frankly I suck at making pancakes. Cooking pancakes on the stovetop is literally a 20-30 minute anxiety attack. I always burn them, they come out all different shapes/sizes, the kitchen fills up with smoke, and I go through way too much butter to keep the griddle greased. Not to mention the mess afterwards.

Enter Cuisinart. I’m a huge Cuisinart fan. Their appliances have never let me down. I own their blender/food processor, toaster/convection oven, bread maker, stick blender, and the list goes on. Everything works well, and everything is easy to use. So when I saw yet another magical combo kitchen appliance from them, I knew it was the one.

Precise DisarrayPrecise Disarray: I am super pleased with this waffle making machine. I spent a lot of time looking at a variety of waffle makers. I wanted to get one for my husband as he sometimes wants waffles. I am not usually a fan of waffles, but I found that I do like Belgian style. So, when I began looking for a waffle maker for him, I made sure it could make the thicker Belgian style that I like.

There are so many waffle makers out there and the reviews are all over the place. I went from thinking I could get something for less than $20 to taking a peek at the offerings in the hundreds. I looked so hard and so long that I was considering giving up. At some point in my mission, I found this Cuisinart waffle maker. I have always liked this brand, and I was kinda keen on the features such as:

Removable plates
Use beyond making waffles, additional plates (swap out two waffle plates for a flat and a flat/round for eggs, sausage patties, sandwiches)
Belgian waffle style plates with deep crevices

The product description video helped me to see how it works, which influenced my ultimate buying decision.
