Steven Pihl: Awesome frame (king) with the head board, lots of extra storage. Unfortunately the frame and the head board don't line up will have to make minor adjustments. Managed to build it solo within 2.5 hours. All the hardware was used, no extra pieces, instructions easy to follow.

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: I honestly can’t understand some of these negative reviews. Let me start off by pointing out a couple things.

1. This is not a furniture store bed. It’s literally $300-400 for a king size frame. Use your common sense. Read the product description. Yes, it’s made from cheaper materials.

No, that doesn’t make it bad quality.

2. Make sure you follow the instructions carefully and take your time. Tighten everything securely.

I am 5 months pregnant and put this together with my dad (which probably gave me a bigger headache than just doing it alone) in about 3 hours. The parts are NOT labeled, which slows you down a bit, but it’s not rocket science to figure out what goes where. Honestly, the drawers probably took the most time to put together just because there’s 6 of them.

This bed is not perfect, but if you take your time and know how to use a screwdriver and Allen wrench properly, it’s a synch. Be careful not to drop any of the pieces as the type of material will chip easily. I noticed some other reviews highlight using extra brackets and tape to make the bed more sturdy, but I didn’t see any need at all. Others...

Falon Robertson: First off the materials are extremely cheap. Cheap to the point that I was embarrassed with myself on what I spent on this bed. We live in a small home though and I wanted to keep it because of the storage options. The directions were subpar at best and skipped steps but thankfully my fiancé is pretty savvy (much more so then I am) with putting thins like this together. It also was missing part of the screws for the drawers and we had to go to Lowe’s and buy them so we could finish building the frame. Within the first week we grew to hate this bed. The cheap boards that are supposed to a lot into each end of the frame for the mattress to rest on pop out constantly because they are to short, the edge of the frame for one side cracked and split, the metal braces are also flimsy and have give, and despite the drawers being in on both sides the frame constantly twists just from us standing up and sitting down making it so you have to realign the bed frame every time you want to open and close the drawers. I am truly embarrassed that I spent money on this shoddy product and wish I had put the money towards a regular frame and rolling drawers.

LochnessMonsterLochnessMonster: First things first, this is gonna be long. Get ready.

Overall I think I'd give this a 4/5 overall when you factor in the cost. The cost of this bed (while, yes made out of MDF) is considerably less than anything else I could find. However it does seem the cost has gone up since I bought it roughly $50. It's still a good value for the money, once it's "fixed".

Drawers - They work great, however I have one HUGE complaint with them. For some reason, they have the curved edge of the drawer on the bottom of the drawer. I assume they think most people will use their foot to slide the drawer open? Or maybe mine were manufactured wrong. No clue. However, they slide nicely and assuming the bed is "square" they'll be fine.

Quality - Mine actually arrived defective. I was going to send an email or contact the seller but never got around to it. Whatever, probably happened in shipping. Speaking of shipping, the UPS guy knocked on my door to see if I was home. Thankfully I was because I have no clue how the poor guy would've unloaded the boxes it comes in. Andrew S..: Fairly easy to assemble. The only issue I have with the product is that they don't give you any spare small parts like the nuts and bolts. We encountered an issue where one of the little gold coloured plugs was put in slightly crooked and so when we tried to put the black screw in the plug, it stripped the inside of the plug to the point where we couldn't adjust it and use it again. I ended up having to go to Home Depot to get a replacement.

Aside from that, the bed is as advertised and so far for the several weeks we've had it, it's been nice and sturdy and not noisy in any way.

Mango: Finding a king bed with storage drawers is easier said than done. I checked all the local furniture stores and didn't find any, so turned to the internet. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that you can buy furniture on Amazon.ca...and delivery is free! Once assembled, this bed looks great. There weren't any missing or damaged parts, and I found the instructions much easier to read than Ikea's.

The bed is made largely of MDF and particleboard, so you won't be able to refinish it. But the product is excellent when considering the price, and given the complete lack of other options, I'm very glad I found this one.

As a bonus, the product is in fact made in Canada.
