Valerie: I use this comb on my two Pomeranians. Their hair is thick, fluffy, and prone to mats. They both tolerate this well; my boy, who hates being brushed, is better behaved when I use this as opposed to a brush. It is a little awkward to hold, and the teeth are not as close together as I would like, but it's a good value for the money.

J Foster: Got this for my fluffy cats tight, matted fur on his chest, and it worked great! Totally removed mats easily. Glad I don't have to take him to the groomers to get them shaved off again!
