Blue Cat Massage Comb for Grooming and Comfort

Amazon Customer: I have 5 indoor cats. Whenever I go in the direction of the bathroom, all 5 jump on the bathroom counter and wait for their turn to be combed. Never fails. This happens several times a day. They even complain when their turn does not come up fast enough even though I have 1 comb in each hand. They absolutely love this comb. It is a satisfying combing of their skin and the comb removes a considerable amount of loose fir. The days of bathroom privacy are over in my household.

Veronica: This is very lightweight and the teeth are on the thin side. Watch out for other sellers charging over $10 per comb. Do not use alot of force or it could crack. I don't think it is meant to detangle matted fur or be used on thicker or curly fur. It glides nice along my cats fur and actually removes most of his loose fur. I like it as it gently scratches under his chin and behind his ears, I don't have fingernail to accomplish that. LOL. My cat likes the massaging effect of the teeth.

Stacy: I decided to try this brush because I saw it advertised as it wouldn't pull cats fur. It definitely doesn't pull their fur and they seem to enjoy it but it doesn't get much fur off of them compared to a flea comb. But the cats don't seem to enjoy the flea comb because it can get stuck on knots and pull their fur.

M. Sutton: I bought this thinking I would find this ergonomic and comfortable to hold but it showed me that I prefer the traditional brush handle of my existing cat brush. Also, the single row of tines lifts far less loose cat hair out at a time than my existing cat brush with it's many rows of bristles so I can get his entire body brushed faster and remove so much more hair faster with my existing brush. Finally (and probably most importantly for me!) this comb is very small and compact - I thought that would be a plus but it turns out it just puts my hand so much closer to the area being combed so that when my cat gets annoyed, he hits my hand instead of the tines... with my existing brush, he swats but hits the brush head of bristles because my hand is further away down the handle more remote from the bristles. I didn't think of that at all before I bought this but every single time I tried to comb him with this comb, he successfully clawed me at some point. Ouch. I thought this cat comb was very cute but, functionally for me, it just showed me how effective my existing brush is so I had to return the cat comb. Thanks for the opportunity to try it out, though!

Cathy Mccormic: The cat grooming comb worked fairly well. I had doubts when first seeing the product in ads and when it arrived. It is so compact and the “elastic” teeth are not more than 1” long. I’m not sure the trtm elastic can be rightfully applied to the teeth as they aren’t really elastic at all, but are made of a flexible plastic. The teeth do not go far under the cat’s hair, but mainly glide and rake over the surface. I thought, how is this going to remove much pet hair? Surprisingly I found it removes more than expected, especially undercoat hairs, a finer type than the outer coat. I liked how the comb does not hurt the cat lije the combs with wire teeth do. In fact it’s rather gentle in nature. I recommend this product for your cats.
