Meem: I had tried, without success, brushing my short-haired cat, with other brushes, and failed miserably. I bought this after seeing, I think, an ad for it on social media, and have been pleasantly surprised, in that my cat will tolerate being "brushed" with it, and even seems to like it, for short periods of time. That being said, it is not really all that effective in removing a lot of her loose hair, but it does get some out, and seems to give me some "contact" time with my cat, who is otherwise pretty averse to being touched a lot. It is not all that sturdy, so I anticipate having to replace it at some point, but it's inexpensive enough that that doesn't bother me.

DONNA MEIER: My boys I use a metal brush. That gets way more hair out in a short time. But they won’t sit still for long.
With this they will just relax and you can do all. Does remove any Matt’s not a lot of down at one time. But I think they love the massage
