Bouffleur, Anita: J'ai acheter le porte vélo en juillet 2023 après avoir vérifier s'il est adapter pour la voiture Skoda Roomster.
Malheureusement, je n'avais pas de temps pour le vérifier et monter avant le 10 septembre 2023.
Il n'est pas fait pour un vélo électrique femme à cause d'une barre inclinée. La roue derrière surplomb plus que 40 cm., donc j'ai acheté le porte vélo pour rien. Ce porte vélo est fait pour les vélos homme.

Robbi: Montato su Mercedes SLK, con una modifica perchè si appoggiava sul portatarga, quindi ho aggiunto un tubo ricoperto in gomma subito sotto al portatarga per farlo appoggiare li. La postazione più vicina al baule si può usare solo togliendo almeno 1 pedale perchè molto vicina alla carrozzeria, con solo 1 bici meglio usare la postazione più lontana. Legando bene la bici e la ruota anteriore è abbastanza stabile, ho portato una e-bike da 20kg per 250km 2 volte senza problemi. Nessun danno alla carrozzeria, ma ho rivestito tutti i ganci con guaina termoretraibile per sicurezza. Nota negativa: molto pericoloso aprire il baule col portabici montato, perchè chiudendo ti arriva in testa dall'alto senza che tu lo veda.

PM2016: This worked great for our 2017 Ford Edge Titanium. Although the Ford Edge isn't on the recommended model list, it fit perfectly on the hatch and worked very well. It didn't interfere with the rear wiper, and securely carried our daughter's bike over 1000 miles on her way to college! We used it in conjunction with a U-Lock to lock the bike to the carrier. The carrier can not be removed from the car without opening the hatch unless you cut the straps. The upper clips must be slipped around the edge of the open hatch to secure in place.

Our daughter was able to install it by herself with no problems.

The only reason I believe that the Edge isn't recommended, is that the rear hatch is auto raise/lower, and the carrier is too heavy for the hatch to properly operate. It is secure with the hatch closed with no issues. The hatch would still open fine with only the carrier installed, but any additional weight on the carrier and the hatch doesn't work. Even opening the hatch manually caused it to fall shut.

Bottom line is it works, and you can open the hatch without a bike on the carrier (we have the 2 bike version).

N: I would give this bike rack a 4.5 out of 5 but since there are no half star rating, I'm bumping it up to a 5.

Pros:
- It comes pre-assembled so you can take it out of the box and install it and be on your way within 30 minutes. It does take some time to figure out where to place the bike rack, but once you've figured it out, its an easy 10-15 minutes to install and attach your bike. Pretty simple!
- The product overall is well made - it's sturdy and it feels like it will last.
- We were able to fit 4 bikes on the rack without any issues - 2 Fat Tire bikes and 2 mountain bikes - we rotated the handles so they bikes were able to be nestled together.
- It is EASY to use - one person can install this without too much trouble & taking the bikes off the rack was a breeze (as far as putting the bikes on - see my comment in the Cons).
- I didn't feel as if my jeep was weighted down with this bike rack - even with the weight of the rack and 4 bikes. I felt pretty comfortable driving with it - there was minimal swinging/creaking during our drive. We have yet to take it on a long road trip

Veronica Whitley: I am very pleased, especially considering I found an open box version in near-new condition from Amazon Warehouse.

I had a hard time finding a rack that would hold 4 bikes without hardware installation (hitch or roof rack) on a vehicle that will come from a company fleet, so I took a chance on this model when I found it on sale. I was able to get a secure fit on my 2015 Ford Focus Hatchback with reasonable effort. The concave curve of the trunk provides a no-slip location for the side straps, which is more a feature of the vehicle than credit to the product itself, but thought I would mention for the benefit of other Focus owners. I did not find a metal anchor point beneath the bumper for the bottom straps, which means all straps attach to the trunk door, making it able to be opened with the rack installed. However, I cannot imagine you could/would do this with the rack loaded with bicycles, nor would I expect a sensible person to leave the rack attached to the vehicle overnight (since it could easily be stolen), so that has limited benefit.
I purchased this item for a relocation to Europe, and have thus not field tested, but the quality and fit are...
