DaintyDiva: I was tired of buying the little packets every time I wanted to bake and this is great. Cheaper than packets and work just the same. I have actually started baking more bread as a result. If you are worried you won't be able to finish the jar before expiring the yeast just be careful to never contaminate or wet the product, close the lid tightly and store it in the freezer.

John: The quick rise yeast works Great. I bake bread every week. Three hours from start to putting the bread pan in the oven. I believe the most important thing is how you proof the dough. Put the empty mixing bowl in The microwave , heat bowl for 45 seconds. One and one half teaspoon yeast into the preheated water to 78 to 83 degrees add all other ingredients. Cover bowl with plastic wrap. Place I large cup of water in microwave heat on high for two minutes. Put the bowl of bread dough in the hot wet microwave for 1 and 1/2 hours to proof the dough. Take bowl out of microwave, the dough should have doubled in size. The above is a nice easy way to successfully use the quick rise yeast and get great proofed bread dough. This is not all the instructions on how to make bread. Rather how to use the quick rise yeast. Best wishes for your bread baking in 2021

RoyBoy1: I bought this yeast to go with a Bread maker that I received for an early Christmas gift. This product is great and rises your dough very well if used properly. It has quite a bit to use in the jar while requiring only a teaspoon or 2 to each recipe. I store in the refrigerator after use. I've been pleased with the results using this yeast and it's fast acting qualities to make a loaf of bread in about 2 hours.

J. Monaghan: I'm completely satisfied with the yeast itself--the bread from my new breadmaker is light and delicious. My only complaint is that, including shipping, the price is awfully high. I haven't checked to see if I can get the same thing locally--am wondering if ordinary quick-rise yeast is actually the same thing.
