Mcalpine: I used it the first time to cut both ends of an ear of corn with the husk on. It went through with ease. I'm single so when I want a nice roast I cut it into about 1 pound pieces and cook only one at a time. This knife will be perfect for that.

Tom Kunz: Used it the first day to cut frozen roast into strips. The next day slicing vegetables and deboning chicken. Found it on a daily deal so the price was excellent. The screws in the handle need countersunk a little bit more but not a big problem.
