zoolane: After ordering 2 new more expensive replacement batteries for a Cyberpower 1500 watt sine wave ups, and sending them back when I found that one measured 10.452 volts, while the other measured 12.616 volts, I looked more carefully before purchasing another set. These POWERSTAR batteries came today, so I checked them out with a calibrated digital meter before putting them on a Victron charger to top them off. WoW. There was only a 31 millivolt difference between the two batteries, and both were in excess of 12.8 volts. No need to try and equalize these batteries. They were already more well matched than I could ever hope for. I'm looking forward to a long life for these batteries. btw ...... I ordered them separately to save a few bucks and get the Amazon Prime guarantee. These batteries are well worth it.

Zander: I ordered 2 batteries and received 2 matching correctly rated batteries. They were well packed and had no damage when received. The UPS does well when unplugged from the outlet. I'll see how well the batteries last when the power goes out for a long time. I expect them to last from the smaller tests I've done. UPS gives estimated run time when using batteries and they indicate the time I was expecting.
My UPS had 2 unmatched batteries from OEM that were failing. Had non-matched Voltage and Amperage ratings being made from two different Mfg. They never belonged together in the UPS in the first place. OEM of UPS were idiots.

Eric Marshall: My ION Block Rocker Max was starting to become difficult to charge and maintaining that charge. After quite a bit of research I landed on a few 12v 9Ah batteries. The reviews all varied depending on application and personal experience which I have learned to take with a grain of salt. What sold me on this battery versus the others is the three year warranty versus the rest that only held one year warranty. While this battery was a little more expensive than the others, I feel the offering is worth the extra $$$. Granted my existing battery lasted about 5 years (Not this brand), I am hoping I will not need to utilize the warranty, but it's nice to have the security/insurance so to speak. After installing this battery in the ION unit, first of all the battery was already fully charged, and secondly the battery life is back to where I need it. I have used this device off & on for over a week and still have not had to charge the new battery. Great product and warranty. If I ever need to replace the battery or a battery similar I will look to PowerStar as my go to vendor.
