Powerextra 2-Pack 2.5Ah LBXR20 Replacement Batteries for Black & Decker 20V Tools

Jordie: I bought these 4 years ago and used them quite a bit. The first one finally died and I took it apart to see the culprit. One cell was bad and the rest were fine. They have outlasted the life of my factory batteries. I would recommend these for sure. I never did have any difference noticed between the performance of these and the factory battery either. Similar run time, charge time, and longevity.

T. Artrip: The batteries that came with my B&D devices (weed trimmer and blower) had held up reasonably well, but had started to lose their ability to hold a charge.

I purchased these based on the recommendations and price. I've been pleasantly surprised. It took a couple of charge cycles them for them to start working as I would have expected, but they are my go-to batteries now. They last longer (I only have to use two for the entire trim/blow cycle - I have a larger lot) and they are lighter and don't heat up as much.

Very pleased with the purchase.

pulled-groin: 8/7/20 so my initial review was written bellow and it reflected on the fact as described ( read it) . Since then, I was contacted by their customer service and they mailed me replacement batteries without me even asking. A + on their part. I have not needed to use the batteries yet, so I don’t know if it will have the same issue as the first one. I will return back here after I have been able to use and recharge the new replacement batteries to give my final verdict. For now 5 stars if they work.

Original review for first time batteries:These were fully charged when they arrived and I was able to use them. I was able to recharge them again after one complete use. After attempting to charge them a second time, both of them would not work. Even tried using two genuine B and D chargers with the correct voltage, still would not charge. Waste of money.
