Kathy Buncombe: This kettle boils water super fast. I love how it collapses to fit into the semi hard storage case. I bought it to take on vacation where the resort room has a coffee maker but no kettle. I will be packing single serve coffee and tea packets as well. You just never know how clean the coffeemakers are at resort or hotels or what they use to clean them. I will be using this kettle often. Boils enough water to fill two good sized mugs.

Energy: brought it on a 1 month trip to europe, saved us a number of times when we just wanted to save money and eat in, or have coffee in the room when staying in budget places. It was not light, but was the best option. It heated water fast, very fast with 220 in europe even with a 110 converter, and cooled down fast enough to not be a nusiance when checking out same morning. wraps up nicely and the travel case has enough room for the cord without struggling to get it to fit.

flamingo: I got this kettle for work since I'm not always working in the same building and we didn't have a kettle at work. This little pot collapses and comes with a nice hard case for storage including the cord. It's pretty easy to set up and take down although the cord is a bit short. I have also found that the cord is difficult to remove from the pot. This is good because it won't accidentally become dislodged but is also a pain because in order to pour from the pot, I have to either unplug it or hope that I have enough cord to keep it plugged in and pour at the same time. It does have a sensor so if the temperature drops below a certain point, it will automatically start heating again. It says that it can heat milk as well but it burns VERY quickly so I stay away from milk from now on. It's fairly easy to clean since it's silicone so it stretches to accommodate your hand. It does have an odd smell to it like many of the reviews mention. I cleaned it thoroughly several times, cooked in it several times, and it still held the smell. KS: Smaller than expected, which is why it lost 1 star, but overall great product. I never use the coffee makers in hotel rooms because they can be gross. This offers the perfect solution for tea and coffee while traveling. Great to use with french press or pour over. It also doesn't take up much space after collapsing.

Patricia Ross: Love that this is so light and compact, works well. I haven’t traveled internationally yet, so unsure how it works with different voltage, but love it so far traveling within Canada. I like to bring my own kettle because you never know if the place you stay will provide one or not and hate constantly having to ask and get them to track one down - some don’t. A small thing, but this eliminates some of the stress of travel.

DKM: 2022 UPDATE: Still going strong using this little kettle now that business travel is back up and running post-COVID! I did discover recently though that mine had a slight defect in the base where the handle attaches. I was able to get in touch with the sellers and in no time, the issue was fully resolved. Outstanding customer service!

I travel a lot and can’t believe I didn’t think to find this sooner! Most hotels or rentals have some sort of of tea/coffee setup (questionable quality but generally present); however last year, I found myself in staff housing (similar to an extended stay) for my company overseas in a developing country for 10 days with zero options in my room other than a mini fridge—no microwave, nothing. I was armed with Starbucks VIA and tea and hot cereal packs and other essentials bc I am all about my morning routine to start the day without leaving my room, and nothing to make it with.
