Smith: I have owned several styles of cat water fountains and this is clearly the best. It is much easier to maintain and clean than others I have had. The bowl and dispenser pieces seem very durable and the fountain water pump system is more than adequate to keep the water circulated and fresh. I would highly recommend this fountain. C. D. Fredrickson: I needed something to add a little humidity near my plants, and having a drinking fountain for the dog and cat is a bonus. Even if I'm sitting right next to it, I can barely hear the fountain. Looks nice with the plants and my pets like drinking out of it.

Rob Hughes: The fountain was a little hard to assemble at first but once I got it up and running worked well. My cats were a little Leary at first so I kept their original water bowl around until they got used to it and I saw them using it. I then removed their original water bowl and they use the foundation on a regular basis. The one thing that I had to remember is to keep the fountain refilled on a daily basis when I feed my cats in the morning to avoid the possiblity of the fountain motor burning out. Not a hard thing to make a part of my daily routine. I would definitely recommend this product to others.

Jess VeeJess Vee: The media could not be loaded. While we've used fountains for our kitties in the past, I purchased this one specifically for our dogs: one of our pups prefers to drink from the stream from the pitcher while you are filling her bowl vs. from the actual bowl itself, and our old girl has doggy OCD (literally) and once she gets the idea in her head that she's thirsty, she will drain the world dry of every drop of water she can reach. We settled on this particular fountain for the combination of price, looks, ease of cleaning, and the fact that it has multiple drinking options to suit each pup, gentle burbling up the centre, streams cascading down from the top, flow on the middle, and fairly still at the base. It's an added bonus that the "tower" part in the middle blocks our big girl from guzzling too quickly.
Fortunately, our pups are as happy with our purchase as we are! They still go to their regular bowl sometimes, but are happy to slurp at the streams from this fountain, too. We have to refill it usually once or twice a day with four dogs (3 of whom are quite small) in addition to having several regular bowls of water available around the house, which tells me that...
