Melissa Marie: Ok first time nail clipper reviewing here. Let me tell you all, it was so easy! I have 2 chi mixed 9 month old siblings, 1 is 5 lbs the other is about 9 lbs. since we’ve been quarantined for over 2 months here in New Jersey, I didn’t want to bother the vet for a trim right now (which is where I usually have them done). Every day I kept looking at their nails, it was almost 3 months since the last trim and I knew I had to do something about it. Despite my fear, I came on Amazon to search products & look through reviews. I found this trimmer for smaller animals & thought it would be better since my pups don’t have thick nails like bigger dogs. I was scared to do it but it was so easy! I know about the quick - my pups have some nails that are black which makes it difficult to see the quick. So I followed the advice of my vet only trimming a little bit every 2 weeks. For 2 pups that don’t like having their paws handled for more than a few seconds, I was able to put them in my lap and trim their nails within 5-10 minutes max.
