I just finished my second ride and will update as needed, but overall I’m quite happy with the purchase. I shopped around and ultimately chose this one, so for others shopping around I’ll share my experience so far:
Pros:
-Very quiet. You don’t hear it at all when pedaling!
-Great range of resistance. I’m using it as a peloton hack and it’s definitely challenging enough for those classes.
-Easy assembly, and appears good quality. (I put it together by myself in about 30 minutes).
-The top try is great for holding a phone or weights.
-The seat does adjust and come forward enough for me. It’s also not uncomfortable if you’re used to spinning.
-Ships internationally (handy for me) and super promptly!!
Cons:
-The console doesn’t track RPMs or cadence. I’m pairing mine with a cadence monitor to address this, but other bikes do track RPMs and that comes in handy if you’re doing cycling classes.
-Really, this bike isn’t for tall folks. The handle bars barely come up high enough to be comfortable for me at 5’5. Definitely worth considering.
-The bike seat moves forward and back too easily- has to be...

Edison A. BlakeEdison A. Blake: When I am pedaling away on this bike it is so quiet I can listen to music or watch a video without need of headphones. Very smooth motion and great way to exercise in the winter and stay in shape for summer biking. I'm six feet tall and weigh just a bit under 200 lbs and the bike fits me fine, is stable and solid. I had a knee replacement done a few weeks before buying the Pooboo and it has definitely helped with recovery and maintenance of mobility. Worth the price...and the follow up from their customer service group to check on my satisfaction levels has been commendable.

C. ReidC. Reid: Exactly what I needed. Putting it together was easy, which is saying something because I almost always have to call a handyman! It's easy to use, and I got a great first workout on it. The place for the ipad is great, so you can stream Peloton or Apple Fitness or other workouts at a fraction of the cost. The bike is whisper quiet. You could literally ride this with someone sleeping in the room, and they wouldn't hear you. Perhaps this is because the resistance is magnetic. The bike is VERY easy to move, the wheels are great, and there is a handle to facilitate moving it. The customer service is perhaps the best part. The company responds to emails within 24 hours, with detailed support. I only contacted customer service to request the free attachment allowing me to connect the bike to my iphone or ipad, which they said they would ship immediately! The seat is a little hard for my liking (might not be for you), but I ordered a gel seat cover and that solved the problem. I couldn't be happier with this purchase. I will be on it every day. At this amazing price, it is a quarantine game changer.

Joel F. Steadley: With gyms closing again, and my doctor advising me to ride a bike post arthroscopic surgery - I looked around for a stationary bike that would allow me to re-hab the knee while not breaking the bank. I chose the PooBoo based upon the reviews along with the price point and prompt delivery.
Bike arrived a day early and it is now next to my BowFlex (another Covid 19 acquisition)
Pros:
- All the tools you need are in the package
- Assembly was straight forward - took about 30 minutes
- Bike is VERY sturdy
- Wheels make it easy to move around and position
I don't usually ride a stationary bike at the gym so there is a learning curve (how best to adjust the seat, what does the magnetic tensioning knob really do, what wire goes where in the console)
One of the features that is being delivered is the ability to use my cell phone or iPad as a training device - that is a free add on -
All in all, very happy with the purchase -

Mr. Lee: I worked as a service technician who repaired and performed preventative maintenance on fitness equipment for 4 years. I've tested and rode a lot of bikes. So when I began my search for my own bike, I had two criteria to meet: it needed to be belt driven and have a magnetic brake. Obviously this machine is both and with it comes inherently smoother, quieter operation with less maintenance required.
Assembly was easy enough. The bike looks fantastic. The handlebars do not adjust forward and backward, but I found the seat adjustment sufficient to achieve desired positioning and creates less places that can wobble.
There was absolutely nothing wrong with the seat that comes with the bike, but because my wife preferred a wider seat, I was able to easily swap out the seat with one from my regular road bike. For the sake of personal preference we might change out the pedals too, but because this bike uses standard parts and the price point was still so low, we can customize this bike to our liking and still beat the price of competitors.
It is a solid bike with a lot to love about it. I am very glad I got it and would recommend it over other pricier brands.
