Chelsea Coleman: This little dehumidifier worked like a breeze!! However, it stopped working completely after about 2 months. Big bummer that’s for sure. Maybe mine just had a short or something but when it did work - it worked great.

Shamli: It seemed great at first, worked very well as a humidifier. But withing 3-4 months it just abruptly stopped working. Wouldn't turn on or do anything. Very disappointing - now seeing several reviews highlighting this same issue. Such a product should be taken off by Amazon.

Bosshart19: I currently own 11 of these, using 10 with a backup. Why? I live in a trailer in FL and love it. But ... it's seriously humid here and the stand alone roof unit doesn't quite cut it. Clothes and particularly leather products stored in closet spaces and under bed/seating storage areas need bulletproof protection. Bread and similar mold sensitive items need care. Yes, central air is effective in living spaces, but highly ineffective in enclosed storage spaces. These units are small, extremely quiet, require no draft with minimal clearance specs and only need weekly checks and possible emptying. And those, for all 10 units, requires only 15 minutes and a sink. Wins all around. So if you're in need of humidity protection in your smaller storage spaces, look no further.

Highly recommend for protection of vulnerable items in smaller spaces.

rob kiser: Product worked well for 8 months. (Reduced humidity in my 8x16 basement space by over 10%. Also, runs very quiet.) Product stopped working for no obvious reason after that period. Emailed customer support and had a new dehumidifier in my hand (at no cost) 7 days later. That works for me.

Amazon Customer: We have four of this model dehumidifier and they work great at pulling water out of the air in our closets. Because they work great at what they are supposed to do, the tanks are often full. Not to worry, there is an overflow switch that cuts off the unit when the little float inside the tank is pushed up by the water level to press up on the little black roller lever above the tank. That lever is part of a snap switch that turns off the dehumidifier and turns on the yellow warning light.
Because the water level comes up slowly, the snap switch (which isn't very snappy) opens the electrical contacts very slowly causing an arc that burns the contacts. I have replaced the snap switches on all our units and they are back working great again. The switches are very inexpensive and commonly available. You do have to do some simple soldering to make the replacement.
The real trick to this repair is getting the case apart. There are six screws, two under the base, two in the tack compartment and two hidden under the vent at the very top. It takes a sharp flat blade screwdriver or two and some wedging to pry that vent straight up. Once you get the vent off the rest is easy to figure...

Y@ry: have a small 8x6 bathroom that has no vent and lots of misty and humidity and I turn it on before the shower and leave on after the shower for a good 1 hr. The AC adapter that goes on the outlet does get a little warm, thus the reason why I don't leave it running too long but it collects a decent size amount of water.

UPDATE: 8/2023: it stopped working. It works well but has a short life span. Spend more and get something more reliable.
