Nice and quiet and sure pulls the water out of the air. I may buy another for the crawl space. The water drain pump makes using this in any location much easier.

Mark Upshaw: I live in a semi tropical environment where the humidity is high all spring, summer and fall. This keeps my home dry within the range I choose. I bought one a couple of years back and ran it everyday. I just bought two more to replace the other one from this maker - same size.

Virginia Lotham: This little guy is 2/3 the size of my old Frigidaire dehumidifier ... but does the job tons better! Kind of glad the old Fridg konked out on me, because this one is lighter, more maneuverable, has better features, is quieter ... Can recommend. It's keeping the basement dry, dry, dry in a wet season.

A Ed: The Yaufey dehumidifier worked great for about a year. It is very quiet and pulled out about 3 buckets of water a day. I used it in a bathroom in the hot Southern weather to supplement moisture removal. It started to freeze up recently in the back and stopped working. I contacted customer service at Yaufey and they are able to replace the defective unit with a new one. It's great to know Yaufey stands by its products. Make sure you register your product to get extra warranty. Without the unit, I can feel the extra humidity in my bathroom.

John Schommer: The true test of a product lies in the response of the company when their product has a failure.
In this age of technology, the new protocol is help that is received in emails. I appreciate the help of someone I am actually having a life conversation with more than emails...so, this is the reason for 4.5 stars instead of 5. BUT, that being said, this company has responded to my issues in a very timely manner and has had answers. I will be receiving a new free sensor for my dehumidifier, as I have rated this product, and I will be installing it myself with the aide of their videos.
I have been very happy with this dehumidifiers' performance and will be happy to have it running again.

I received the part about a week later, which is is very timely and impressive. The problem is that the part did not solve the problem but also could not be installed because the old sensor was soldered in. So, I hired someone skilled in electronics to put it in and he found that the real problem was a leak of freon in the copper tubing.
I explained all this thru email to the customer service department and they said that entire unit will be replaced, but I need to...
