Susan: I keep my jewelry in re-sealable plastic bags with an anti-tarnish strip in each bag. This method keeps my jewelry clean, close to tarnish free, and in need of less frequent thorough cleanings. When I needed larger bags, I bought Plymor Zipper Reclosable Plastic Bags, 2 Mil in several sizes, including 4"x4", 5"x5", and even bigger. The larger sizes are great for holding cuffs, bangles, and large or chunky bracelets and necklaces. I also use the larger bags for organizing my jewelry, especially earrings. For example, I put each pair of earrings in its own small bag with an anti tarnish strip; then, I gather up all similarly colored earrings and put them in a larger bag. Thus, as a specific example, I have a big plastic bag for all light blue earrings and another big bag for dark blue earrings. It is easy to write on the outside of the bag to identify its contents; over time, however, the writing may fade or rub off, so making actual labels may be more durable.

I also use the larger bags to organize things like charger cords, adapters, and ear bud headphones. I can label the bag to state what the item is or what it goes to (e.g., "kitchen soap dispenser charger"). Advantages...

P. Buchanan: Pros: Good quality product, plastic mil is thick enough to do the job. They open and close easily. Worth the money.

Cons: Putting anything exactly 4x4 in there bends them - they should be a tiny bit larger so the inside is 4x4. I'd hate to have to buy the next larger size, then things aren't snug and don't look good on display.

Sue S.: Next paragraph tells why I orginally gave this company only 1 star, but because of their business ethic I have upgraded to a 5. Even though Amazon had refunded my money, they contacted me about the problem and replaced my bags at no charge and gave me an apology for the smell even though they have no idea how it happened. The new bags are perfect. They now have a very satisfied customer who will not hesitate to order from them again.

WHY ORIGINALLY only one star: when I opend this package of plastic bags, the inside of the bag REEKED of purfume. I am NOT odor sensitive, but the smell after about 30 minutes was turning my stomach. Moved them to the dining room table, a more open space hoping they would air out so I could use them. After about an hour and a half, my husband, who is NOT odor sensitvie either, put them in a box with a box of baking soda and carried them out to the garage. After a couple weeks in the cardboard box with the box of baking soda, they still smell but not as bad. Still unuseable. The smell also, as you would expect to the other plastic bags in the order, rendering them unusable also. Amazon refunded my money, but marked that my problem happened in...
