Julie: This was the perfect solution for my "work" laptop that doesn't have Bluetooth installed. I can't add it b-cuz I'm not allowed to alter the laptop with any additional apps. With the Shelter in Place order, I was trying to use a wire connected headset to talk with customers, but it was a hassle. Someone told me about the "dongle adapter", I just had to get one that was compatible with the Plantronics Legend earpiece I already had...I got it, plugged it in, changed a few settings on my laptop and it works great. The only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars overall is because it doesn't come with the technical instructions telling you how to set up Windows to work with it, and that it's tricky to get the Bluetooth on my laptop to work if the headset is already connected to my iPhone. I have to make sure to disconnect from my iPhone before pairing with my laptop.

DLC: Mine broke (dropped laptop so no worries it's not a defect!) and had to get this replacement immediately. This is THE best headset and even already bought three more as gifts! I hope this Voyager version never changes too much!

Cliente Amazon: As I didn't have bluetooth on my company's laptop I couldn't connect my Plantronics Voyager Legend for Skype for Business calls. I read from reviews that the normal BT300 works also but not with Skype for Business which was basically what I needed it for. The BT300-M connected directly onto the laptop (even though it's pretty much locked down by company policies) and now I can happily use my Voyager Legend to Skype with colleagues when working remote. I don't get complaints anymore from too much static noise which was the case with my former headset. I highly recommend the Plantronics Voyager Legend and in case you don't have bluetooth also this BT300-M dongle.

WM: Ich habe mir das Produkt gekauft, da ich ein Plantronics Voyager Legend erstanden hatte und dieses ohne den USB Adapter nicht richtig vom Windows Betriebssystem erkannt wurde. Daher wurden auch nicht alle notwendige Treiber geladen bzw. installiert, was den Funktionsumfang des Voyager Legend reduzierte und auch Firmware-Updates unmöglich machten.

Der Einsatz des USB-Adapter hatte hier Abhilfe geschaffen. Nun kann ich alle Funktionen nutzen.

Travis: My original dongle broke because I was a bit lazy and kept it in my laptop's USB port when I wasn't using the headset including while traveling and it received a death blow along the way.

This one worked perfectly with my Plantronics Voyager Legend headset which is use on my company network over MS Office Communicator and MS Office Live Meeting. It also works fine on my personal computer with Skype.

I did go online to find out how to pair the new dongle with my headset and it was easy peasy.

Michael Lowery: As with all negative reviews, remember that companies do have occasional manufacturing defects. This doesn't mean ALL of these headsets are bad, just the one I bought.

In general, I have found Plantronics to produce some of the finest quality audio products on the market. They last a long time and are worth the extra money. I have recommended and used them both personally and professionally with no disappointment.

Accessories:
The over-ear hook accessory seemed very flimsy and cheap which is unusual in Plantronics equipment. The headset came with little jelly ear things in various sizes which my ear did not like very much--they were itchy. The charger is a standard wall USB charger (one-piece, so no free USB cable).

Out of the box, the audio had a crackle to it which I attributed to Bluetooth interference (I live in an apartment building), but keep in mind I've used the professional grade wireless headsets made by Plantronics and have rarely seen interference but those are multi-channel radio and not Bluetooth.
