Juan Ortiz: Lo conecte con un sistema de bocinas BOSE y el resultado es estupendo, el bluethoot, el stream box y la conexion a la tele. Cambio mi forma de ver peliculas, series y videos. muy recomendable.

M: We wanted a receiver that was easy to use without a lot of bells and whistles to complicate things. That is exactly what we got. It was very easy to connect everything and it's very easy to use. It doesn't produce near the level of sound of more expensive receivers but it's enough for our needs. The sound quality is probably also not as good but since we aren't audiophiles it's good for us. I use the Bluetooth connection to listen to music from my phone. It easily connects and plays with no issues. My phone is a Windows phone so it's rare to have Bluetooth work so well.

Overall, if you are looking for something inexpensive and simple this is your product. If you want excellent sound and the ability to connect a multitude of devices look at something more expensive.

unixmac10: Excelente precio de una buena marca, entrega en 2 dias con Prime, super bueno si lo quieres usar para un teatro en casa o cualquier otro caso uso que requieres usar el audio de una señal HDMI por las bocinas. Nosotros lo usamos como fuente de video para un proyector, y de este receptor tenemos todas la entradas de la sala de junta, como la video conferencia, la compu de presentaciones y el cable HDMI que se tiene para la gente con lap. Muy recomendable.

Daniel Hector Nery Treviño: la enorme diferencia entre tenerlo en tus manos a solo verlo en la pantalla pues si hay diferencia es un aparato ostentoso no es mini y otro detalle que creo que es importante la guía que tiene es muy básica es necesario tomarte un tiempo para buscar y saber lo que tienes porque el manual no l dice bueno para los que no sabemos mucho de cuestiones técnicas de sonido; lo bueno todo si todo se escucha muy bien me gusto mucho.

Cliente de Amazon: Excelente amplificador, fácil de usar. Lo que me gusto es la función S.RETRIEVER sirve para mejorar el audio en el modo de bluetooth o si usas una usb para reproducir música. Mejoró el sonido de las bocinas que también son Pioneer, Lo complemento con un subwoofer Acoustic Audio PSW 8. El amplificador llegó antes de la fecha de entrega, Excelente servicio de Amazon

Brian R.: It just doesn't get any better for the price. This thing is freaking awesome! I replaced a 22 year old Technics that put out pretty good sound, I was nervous about getting something that sounded at least as good. I have another Pioneer that is set up to a complete home audio surround system, complete meaning with sub and all, but this one is just for a living room with two floor standing 30 year old Fisher speakers. I was worried about bass reproduction and sound quality with such old speakers. There was no need to worry. Even with the old speakers, this thing rocks the house and produces some pretty darn good sound. What a joy to listen too. Can't wait to get a better set of speakers...

It's a little difficult to set up, calibration wise, since it doesn't have many instructions in the manual, and the remote is a little different than my other Pioneer. However, since I had some experience with Pioneer, it wasn't to bad for me. I didn't have to look online for instructions for this one, but I did for the other so I know it's there and easy to understand. I like that it has settings to set the size, distance, and sound level for each speaker. It...

NetShopper: I like this receiver. I would describe the sound as bright and precise. The volume is plentiful. I've connected a usb drive of MP3s, a vcr & dvd via rca and video cable, and cable tv and pc via the hdmi. I don't have a problem moving between devices. The receiver is wonderful for watching the football game or dvds. I only use 2 of the listening modes. I use the plain stereo mode for Jdoramas and the Ext stereo mode for everything else. The other listening modes sound comical and I don't believe that I will use them. Just for fun I popped in a baroque cd and the sound with the Ext mode and a set of 5.1 speakers was splendid. The music sounded as if I were in a church listening to a concert. As for settings the only change I made was turning down the treble to -4 & the bass up to +4. I find the remote easy to use and well laid out. However, the keys are not backlit so while in the dark you have to remember where to push. If the unit lasts I would purchase another pioneer unit.

Jen: Ok. So I have a dedicated theater room. I had an Onkyo TX-6R109. We were never really friends. It was wishy washy and after 5 years, started to have that "connect to volume" problem. Which I found a video on line, if you heat this thing up with a Blow Dryer. It turns the wires back on. But as time goes on, this was taking like 20 mins to do. My quality of life was going down and I could feel it. So I started to do my research. Here's what I found out, Marantz is like the top dog, and if you have $500+ you want to commit, go for it. It's worth it. But I did NOT. The Onkyo set me back about $550 5 years ago, but it also came with speakers. I was able to purchase this Pioneer and connect my old speakers! And the sound is AMAZING! Last night, after I set it up, I watched a little T.V. I'm connected through a projector. It is FASCINATING how much picture technology upgraded in just 5 years. My Picture looked AMAZING! I couldn't get over how crisp and clear it looked. It made me fall in love with my room all over again. So then, I tested out the Bluetooth from my phone, it hooked RIGHT UP! No, dilly dallying. No confusing codes, it just CONNECTED! I listened to this...

Mike D: The first one I bought was Dead On Arrival. Nothing worse than getting a new toy and hooking it up only to discover that it doesn't work. Amazon processed the return with no problems. I took the chance and got another one because I understand that it happens and I like the brand. This was the only receiver I could find with HDMI 2.2 pass in the $200 price range. Installation was typical. I did have to do some reading on the different sound setting and played around till I found the best one for my taste. I have to say that the sound on this receiver is fantastic. It replaced a Sony STR-DH550 that was moved into the man cave. I find the sound coming from my surround speakers more crisp and detailed. I do not used a powered sub and the bass coming from the speakers sounded deeper as well. It was a clear improvement over the Sony. The Sony would power on and off automatically with the TV and this one does not.

5 stars on performance minus one for the first receiver being DOA.
