Amazon Customer: No vale la pena por el precio. Para que funciona, tendrá que poner muy poco agua, así los cubitos son muy pequeños.

K. L. Myers: I don't like the icemaker on the refrigerator that is in the house we recently bought and don't use it. I don't need much ice; it's mostly for the occasional guest who prefers ice in their beverages or if I need to quickly cool something, like a particular recipe or an injury. The set doesn't take much room in my freezer and provides enough ice. The container helps prevent sublimation of the ice cubes. The directions warn against overfilling the trays and suggests ways to make it easier to release the ice. I forgot how much freezing water expands, so my first set of cubes were more difficult to release because there were ice bridges beween the cubes. Everything still worked. The method of releasing the ice is simple brute force, but the included spikey panel makes it possible to press a trayful of ice cubes directly into the container withou escapees. It takes some exertion to make the cubes release, especially if you overfilled the tray with water, but the plastics involved seem to be sturdy enough to withstand the Two trays don't fill the container, so if you want to make all your ice in one batch, you might want to get the three-tray offering. I bought the two-tray model,...

Scan Thriller Fan and Cat person: A really nice simple alternative to an ice maker. Smaller cubes than old ice trays but 32 per tray. So I use one fresh tray morning and the same in the evening. If it’s hot or I have company I’ll use more trays. Good price.

Noha El Gharous: I love how I always have ice now. The container is big enough to store ice for a while. Just need a hard push to get it all out and in the container but still a good product.

Joshua Jansen: This is more than just an object to freeze water, this is an engineering concept.
The silicone rubber (I guess?) and plastic composite are a great idea for ice trays, and I have tried them in the past, with limited success. This variation understands the limits of the material (ice can tend to stick to it), used it only in the important area to be stretched, combined it with harder plastic, and then used a spike array to poke the ice out.
That's brilliant on its own, but the trays are designed with three different concepts in mind: first, an overflow guard, which every ice cube tray ever should have had, but never did. Second, the plastic overflow channels on each cell act as fill meters. Third, and this is the most important one, the slight hydrophobic nature of the plastic uses the meniscus of the water and the size of the cell to its advantage, helping prevent spilling by preventing flow from a filled cell. It seems like the size of the cells were picked to best take advantage of this property of water.
Another major failing of ice cubes trays that this solves: storage. Unless you're using a fridge with an ice maker, whose water tap was removed, you...

Daniel Viera: I recently picked up the PHINOX Ice Cube Tray Set, and it's turned my regular drink routine into a delightful experience. These trays come with some nifty features that make freezing ice cubes for drinks, whether it's a refreshing juice or a classy cocktail, so much easier.
Quick and Hassle-Free Ice Release:
The ice cube tray's push-release mechanism is a game-changer. It's as simple as placing the tray upside down on the bin, closing the lid, and giving the middle of the lid a gentle press. Voilà! The ice cubes pop out effortlessly. I found that not overfilling the tray, or letting it sit for a minute or two after removal from the freezer, helps the cubes release even more smoothly.
Food-Grade and Safe:
I appreciate that these ice cube trays are made from food-grade PP material, which means they're safe for freezing and using repeatedly. It's good to know that my drinks won't be tainted with any unwanted chemicals. Though keep in mind, they're not dishwasher safe, but a quick hand wash isn't a big deal for me.
Instant Release Magic:
The newly upgraded press-type ice cube trays deliver on their promise of releasing all the ice cubes at once. The...
