JW: I no longer have an ice maker, so I bought a few of these. I love them! Super easy to use and keep clean and it’s easy to get the cubes out. The rubber cover really makes a difference and helps a lot. I have many now and so far so good for months now.

Flynn Ryder: I use a LOT of ice. I actively use these trays every single day. I have 3 of them and put the released frozen cubes in an ice container to store in the freezer, then refill them. They are super easy to fill, just run water in them and the overflow will work itself into the empty cubes. When all the empty cubes are filled and the entire tray is overflowing, lay on the silicon cover from the attached side and roll it over the rest of the tray. That way, you'll work out all the air bubbles. I've put these trays in the freezer lying down flat, on their side, and upside down (as a test). Everytime...no leaking and perfect ice cubes.

The only thing that I could possibly complain about it when the silicon cover gets a little dirty, the frozen cubes tend to stick after twisting the tray to take out the cubes. So you need to pull off some of the stuck ice cubes from the cover. But this is the perfect time to clean the cover. Take it off completely, clean it with soap and hot water, dry it off, then spray a paper towel with some cooking spray (I use avocado oil), then wipe the bottom side of the silicon cover. Anastasia C.: Superb quality, easy to fill and clean. I can't recoment this ice tray enough. It does not crack or make you wresstle with it to release the cubes. Say goodbye to having to pour hot water over the tray or twist so much your wrist hurt! Best part is you could store this on its side as it is drip proof. I wont use anything else and recently bought a new fridge and threw away its crappy ice tray to use these.

bluebell: After getting rid of my under counter freezer that had a dedicated freezer ice compartment I resorted to digging out this product I purchased some time ago and started to use it in my new fridge freezer that does not have a dedicated ice cube tray. I love ice cubes with my pop and have to say after a week of using this product I was satisfied enough to buy another one as I wanted a back up when one tray ran out of ice cubes.

pros it is easy to fill and carry to the freezer without spilling everywhere and once the ice cubes are frozen they are reasonably easy to remove from the tray by easily pulling the ice cube tray cover back and pressing down on one side of the ice cube to release them however occasionally there is a stubborn one that requires a little more force.

The tray is a slim design so does not take up much room and sits very well on top of other food in the freezer that I try to arrange uniformly balanced. Cons maybe not big enough for a family (14 medium sized ice cubes per tray) but defo good enough if you are looking for a daily fix of ice cubes for your drinks.

Just Some Guy: I sometimes feel like "Oxo" is the "Apple" of the kitchen. Oxo seems to have developed a cult following of sorts, to the degree that no matter what they produce, no matter how "so-so" a particular item might be*, people are going to be handing out the 5-star reviews to that new smart watch with the 8-hour battery life like they’re handing out bargain-basement Halloween Candy.

Kim Huff: I am a huge ice fan... my friends actually tease me about it all the time. We have a fridge that makes ice but we have had it repaired 11 times in the past 12 years. After spending $150 to $200 each time, I finally refused to pay for it again. This meant I had to go on a ice cube tray research exhibition. ;-)

I looked and read the reviews for several ice cube trays. I finally stumbled upon a video that compared about 5 ice cube trays and the OXO Good Grip No Spill Ice Cube Tray was by far the best one. I purchased five trays and the Rubbermaid Ice Bin to put them in once they were frozen.

Now that I've made a few rounds of ice... here goes.

At first, it is somewhat awkward dealing with the silicone lid that covers the tray after filled with water. But, by the time I filled the 5th tray, I was already getting the hang of it. The video on Amazon makes it look very easy, but for me I didn't want to use the faucet. Instead, I poured water from our filtered water line in the door of our fridge and then I poured that in the ice cube trays.
