Kimberly Kassel: I actually love these, I bought two more sets. They give you the perfect set of ice balls. However could be a little hard to get out, but worth it if you having a party and want to be impressive with your ice balls for their cocktails. My husband uses them and creates a bunch of ice balls so he just grabs one every night for his whiskey drink. A must buy!

Amazon Customer: I have a large tumbler I use everyday. I work outside and put 5 ice balls in my tumbler with smaller ice in-between. Lasts almost all day and I am refilling my cup up to 5 times a day. Gotta stay hydrated in this florida heat. I have 26 molds so I have enough for all week. Easy to fill and easy to remove.

Nevertheles: I have read several comments on how hard it is to get the ice balls out of the molds. I have used these for years and came up with a easy to do solution to get them out of the molds.
1. I put very warm water on top of the rubber tops.
2. Let them sit for a minute.
3. At that point you can easily pull of the tops.
4. They usually pop right out at that point.
5. If they don't pop right out, tap them lightly on the kitchen counter and they will fall out.
I do that last step on a kitchen towel, but usually don't even need that step.

Art: This is my second purchase of these molds. When company is over I needed a couple more. What is insane is that the first time I saw a mold that produced little sphere's of ice I was at a big wine tasting and the contraption they had there was made of solid copper and cost hundreds of dollars. Imagine my surprise when I found these for such a modest price...surely they would not work properly. But I bought them and I was wrong. There is one little trick to them so you don't get a "blank spot"/air bubble in the sphere. You fill up the base with water, then put your left finger over the little hole in the gray silicone top as you press it into place with your other hand sort of using a finger to press it as you move it around. Frequently you'll still end up with a little bubble of air in there which you can see if you put a finger over the hole and turn the assembled contraption upside down. You can then use a little trickle of water to fill in that bubble through the open hole in the top. I do all this in my sink. Then into the freezer it goes. They last quite awhile. And sometimes you might have to trickle a little water on the frozen shere to loosen it from the silicone lid.

OG Reviews: Ice can be a little hard to remove from the base, since it's not flexible. But running hot water over it solves this! I'd love for them to include instruction on how to make the ice cubes "Crystal Clear"!
