Hayk: Cheap plastic Pfister piece broke inside the handle. This is a direct upgrade and worked too well. Installation was a simple plug and play. Now my shower handle has precise temperature control.

MotownStan: I replaced a broken plastic one with this brass one. The splines must be a little off because when in the off position the handle is not exactly at the 6 O'clock position, but I can live with it.

Sam: This is the part I was looking for. There is a downside tho.
Mine is not vertical when the valve is completely turn off, only issue I have.
