ShanaBShanaB: We have a Norwegian Forest Cat and that breed has lots of long hair. This works better than any other of Fuzzie’s five combs & brushes that do not untangle her fur as well as this comb. I paid a lot for the expensive brand name detangler but this works much better. And it doesn’t pull her hair. Take it slowly, I do just a couple of tangles at a time and she doesn’t mind “having her hair done!”

Brig: It didn't really work well for me. I found it hard to use as it would just get stuck in my cats fur and not really work well to cut out knots. You have to go over the same section over and over again to remove the knot and by that time my cats get annoyed and I can't do it anymore. I also wish it could be flipped to use on both sides.

S. Miller: This does a good job; better than a regular comb. However, my dog has learned to hate it and I'm not certain why. The ends of the tines kind of have a hook shape so maybe it digs in too much? Anyway, it does work when I'm able to get her to cooperate for a few minutes at a time.

Ms Agnieszka Kudra-Zych: It won't remove matted fur. If you try to remove knots of fur it's too harsh as it pulls fur and cat doesn't like it.

Amazon Customer: I gave it a bad review not on the product itself BUT it is impossible for a left handed person to use . Something to consider . If the handle was in the middle of the head then a left handed or right handed person could use it. Just a thought. I looked closely at the item and you can take out the 2 pins and reverse the hooks to make it left handed. Be carefull and use pliers to push back the cutters. With that solved I now can give it a 5 star rating
