The picture looked like exactly what I needed, however the individual bristles are slightly further away from each other than you may expect.

Other than that, this comb works like a charm, and is anti-poke by having dulled ends rather than sharp spikes

MEE: I decided to buy these combs after reading the other Amazon reviews from customers. The combs are a good quality. I have tried out both on my beloved cat but she needs to become more familiar and comfortable with them to get the most benefit. I currently groom her with a dedicated grooming brush but I did notice that the combs managed to remove fur set deeper in her coat. So all in all the combs are worth having as part of the grooming process. We all know how sensitive our kitties are so be patient when trying the combs out. I have had two goes to date and was very pleased with the results.

Vrgupta14Vrgupta14: This comb. is amazing. full stop. I have a Golden Retriever who has super puffy, thick, almost coarse hair. I've tried the furminator brush and a slicker brush, and I always thought that was just the best things were going to be. I'd brush him, and lots of hair would come out, but he'd still be super puffy in areas, and I'd have to go over those areas about 100 times to see any difference. My sister-in-law recommended this Hertzko brush to me, as they'd used it on their Bernese Mountain dogs and loved it. I'll be honest: I thought "Whatever. I'll give it a try, but my dog's hair is just different. Nothing really 'works'." The package game, and timing was interesting because my Golden was in the middle of trying to shed his winter coat so he had this huge puffy undercoat that was ready to be brushed out but nothing really got it out. The first few swipes of this brush, I knew something was a little different (in a good way). After 10 minutes or brushing, my dog looked like he'd just gotten GROOMED and I was calling my husband in disbelief. This brush is, hands down, the best brush I've ever used on a dog. My dog looks and feels different, and it took out that puffy undercoat...
