ArieArie: I just bought a new house and there were patches of dead grass on the lawn. I bought this to fill in the patches but it was a complete fail. The grass did grow just like in my picture. Very thin and sporadic but it died in about a week after sprouting. I decided to test it in a separate container to rule out the possibility of my lawn being the issue. I got fresh soil and put it in three separate containers. I added seeds to all three and watered daily. They all sprouted but two completely died and the third only remained with very thin sporadic blades of grass. It's a great product in theory but it doesn't last and it's a big waste of time. You're better off buying a piece of sod and laying it where you need grass.

Austin Bagge: Was exited to see this for such a cheap price but after opening the bag I see that there are very few grass seeds in it, and little fertilizer. I’d say nearly 99% of the bag was just mulch pellets
