Sam Savill: I love these filters but I thought I was biting the bullet paying MORE $ for it than a 20 gallon filter by the same manufacturer... THEN I noticed a $13+ delivery FEE... OMG!
IT'S easier and cheaper to buy a 20 gallon kit and cut the plates down, throw some sponge foam to fill in around it (it doesn't have to be tight fitting) and have TWO 10 gallon filters.
My fault, I didn't notice the delivery charge but get real...
Don't give these sellers your money - buy smart, get the no delivery fee 20 gallon kit and get 2 for 1

StephanieStephanie: Used in a 10 gallon tank and it fit perfectly. The tabs on the underside of the grate did not snap off easy on one side but did on the other. A tube came cracked but did function ok so that's why I gave the 4 stars. I am disappointed about the broken air stone though, as I couldn't get it to stay connected. Overall, it's a great product and appears to do the job it's meant to while additionally making the tank look nice with the bubble tubes.

Amazon Customer: Works great only dislike it the the plastic tubes are a bit tall for the standard size 10 . Causing it stop flowing correctly as it comes out right at the top of the tank where you have to fill tank to the brim which it not ideal. Wish it was about an inch shorter. (Scared to try and cut down to size, as may have complained of tubes already broken or very fragile and crack easily)

University Doc: I love under gravel filters for my fish tanks and use them regularly. I still have the original one I purchased for my 55 gallon tank and it is still going strong. Kept a safe and healthy tank for over twenty years until my fish just died out. I purchased this particular one for my 10 gallon which used to have a hang on type filter. I purchased another, fa smaller one for my 5.5 gallon tank to replace a hang on filter. All are Lee brand. Highly recommend under gravel filters for ease of use, reliability and operation. I use mine with powerheads so no air pump, tubing or air stones are necessary but they come with them if you prefer to use them. Powerheads are easier to set up, use and maintain than the tubing etc.

StevieStevie: The media could not be loaded.  Simple to assemble just cut out a few joints
Puts air into the water - fish need the oxygen to live
Just using it to keep the little ones alive - had loads and loads of eggs laid in my Aquaponics but were slowly getting eaten by the bigger fish
Put the weed containing the eggs into a medium container - revamped it using the filter and as you can see from the video I now have over 30 more fish
I have ordered another set as I’m expanding my tanks again

Peter M. Lehmer: the only complaint that I have the air stone do not work properly they leak air only at the top of the air stone bought new ones and that solved the problem of not having enough suction
