Jonathan Dennehy: I stupidly tried a non name brand to save money and will never make that mistake again. These cleared my tank up immediately, the filter media is obviously higher quality, and contains more carbon than the off name brand.

Mike Bennett: I just received the filter cartridges and I am sure they are going to be fine considering, the "C" right fit is the same all over. However, I read many reviews and many of them said that their box arrived smashed or crushed. I figured that was a courier problem but mine arrived smashed too. This is an Amazon problem and they way they ship this very thin boxes to their customers.
