Crystal G: At first I was not impressed with the size but these small spooks hold a ton of string! I’m so glad I went ahead and ordered these. Excellent purchase overall. String is thin but perfect for my embroidered ornaments and strings holds up with heavy stitching over them. Highly recommend seller and product.

Hey!Hey!: It’s strong and shiny. Pleasant to touch as far as anything metallic goes, without a doubt. However, I’m making fringe and was hoping I’d get more out of it. The images you see are of approximately one foot long with two layers of crochet-top DIY fringe. The second one is folded in half, so it’s basically four layers. I’d gladly use it if it provided significantly more for the same price, but at this rate I’m going nowhere. I’ll use serger thread and see how it goes. If you have smaller projects this is great stuff
