Michael E. Murray: we ordered smoke tint 6 lb. beading line for my spouses beadwork. She started using it right away and said it worked great on her projects that used vey small beads. She was having some issues with 8# line with beads breaking which can be very frustrating. smoke tint is a translucent as well and is virtually invisible in finished work. The vendor was prompt. There was a shipping cost but even so the price was about what we pay in Anchorage and we don't get up there that often -

Mitzi: I always use fire line braided thread for my beading projects. It has shown to be the strongest and most durable thread I've ever used and will remain my one and only thread I use with my beading projects till someone can come up with something better and more affordable.

Sophia Edwards: I enjoy using this thread for beading products and would buy it again. It is thin enough to use smaller beads including 15/0. With the smaller beads you will have less thread passes however you will have a more durable piece of jewelry than with some other brands. Although the thread does not fray easily I noticed the grey coating sometimes strips while beading which can make it difficult to use and can also compromise the strength of you work.

Barbara: Fireline does.not.break. Sometimes you can't even cut it. I have certain cutters that will cut it, but others won't. A necklace made of Fireline will have a swing to it that one cannot get with cable, no matter how thin the cable. At this point I only use cable when there are weight or sharpness issues, such as heavy beads or hand cut glass beads that will be moving a lot. Crystal Fireline is almost invisible, although all of the colors blend in very well with your creation.It's not tangly, either, but be aware that if it knots, it will be unforgiving. In some instances, the immovable knot is just what you want, though.
Recommended especially for multi-strand necklace use. Practice using it a bit before actually making something with it.
