RR: A very good amount of cord for a good price! The cord is very soft, but sturdy. I was pulling relatively hard on it to ensure that it stayed wrapped around the handles in the picture. I used super glue every now and then to make sure it held and it was thick enough that it didn’t just leak through and show on the other side.
I used this to wrap the handles of a basket I put together to carry around the renaissance faire. The wicker was likely to be irritating considering the weather and the weight of the metal dabloons I was carrying in the little coin purse. It softened the handles immensely and didn’t irritate or chafe after 4 hours of wearing it in the crook of my elbow.
I also used it to replace the laces that originally came with the skirt I wore to the faire. It held nicely there too and secured the dress more comfortably. These as laces had a little more give to them while somehow feeling more durable. Plus it added a little more rural edge to the skirt. I don’t have a good picture of that, but I’ll try to get one the next faire and update here.
