Chad: Just took er’ out on her maiden voyage - can’t say enough about this Kayak. I had a larger tandem for years, but my wife never wanted to go, so I downsized to this and just couldn’t be happier. First off, it’s unbelievably light, I can literally just carry it to the lake with ease. It’s got pretty good stability, I’d say it’s intermediate. But it also goes man! On Lake Michigan, the current and waves can be strong, but this sucker cuts like a knife. 100% worth every penny. NOTE: there’s two holes in the back. And no, you’re not “missing” any plugs when this delivers. Those are intentional and help drain runoff. They have no impact on seaworthiness. Enjoy.

Amazon Customer: I was using a 60 lb 12 ft kayak that was difficult for me to transport alone and wanted something smaller and lighter. This kayak fits the bill, however it arrived with a broken handle cord and is missing two plugs in the bottom of the kayak that I didn't notice until after I used it and wondered why there was more water inside than expected from normal drip off the paddle. When I tried calling the customer service number posted on this site, I spoke with someone who said they were not the Pelican company that makes kayaks - hmm. Also, the kayak lacks handles or fasteners for tying down the kayak. I am too short to use roof racks so use a bed extender that attaches to a trailer hitch so I can transport in my hatchback with the boat resting on the extender supports. The only option was to run a strap through the handle on the front of the boat which kept it on the rack but not stabilized and it slid around during transport. I had to stop a few times to insure it was secure enough to continue. Overall I like the size and lightweight of the item and it handled pretty well in the water

Carlson: This kayak is decently cheap and stable enough for beginners. The tracking and manoeuvrability is not the best, but it just works. I fish for trout and bass on this kayak and the back compartment area is great for my to put all my fishing stuff. The hatch is honestly a bit too small and far to reach to be useful. Seat is comfortable enough to sit 3-4 hours, but probably not more than 5. Cheap kayak with great quality and I found the rear compartment to be very useful.

cathy trocchi: Item arrived a week past the original promised shipping date, The bottom arrived scratched and dirty and the plug is missing. This item is no longer in stock so I don't want to return but a replacement plug is needed for use. I will reach out to Pelican to see if they support their product.
