PediFix 2-Pack Ball-of-Foot Gel Pads for Comfort and Relief

Kindle Customer: I am "walking on bones" according to doctors and calluses form. Painful with every step. I have tried and used many pads, gel band aids and callus removers. All help a little, but Pedi-gel stays in one place and helps spread the callus out, if you follow. I can now wear one for several days and walk without pain.

Thanks to whoever designed them and also to the one who found a way to create a gel that says sticky after repeated washings. I am in alt.

Still bitten: I've tried many different metatarsal pads and find these to be especially useful in ladies dress shoes because they are very thin and flexible while still providing a little extra padding. Some other pads (e.g. Dr. Jills 1/4 inch) were so thick that they made my dress shoes uncomfortable. I also greatly prefer pads like these that are reusable and stick to the foot rather than the shoe as they are cost effective and can be positioned exactly where relief is needed.

Susan Doucet: Cheap fix for the pain I was dealing with. When it's adhered just under ball of foot area, it slightly raises the foot when stood on which then separates the 4th toe away from 3rd toe where the nerve was rubbing. I was very grateful the Dr gave me a cheap fix instead of selling me a high dollar shoe insert.

Blue Moon in CA: The previous gel pads I used were old and had lost their stickiness, so I needed a new pair. The old gel pads were shaped differently, but I thought these triangular shaped pads might be worth a try. First off, they are not as sticky as my previous pair, so I suspect they will not last as long. For now, they are staying stuck to my foot, but not completely. Also, I rotated the pads approximately 90 degrees so that the longer edge is lined up with my big toe. This seems to work better and covers the whole ball of my foot. I recommend that position instead of what the photo shows in the description. Lastly, they are not as cushioned as my previous pair, so it's not helping with the pain as much as I'd like.
I've also discovered that when wearing gel pads like these, that I also need a little extra arch support, since increasing the thickness at the ball of the foot causes my arch to be a bit strained. I simply put on an arch sleeve and that solves the problem.
In conclusion, I would probably not buy these again, as the cushioning is not as good as it could be, and the lack of stickiness means they won't last long either.

Lleva un poco de ensayo lograr posicionarlos en el lugar correcto, especialmente si tiene pies chicos pero si se acomoda. En 5 minutos ya no recuerdas que los tienes puestos. Sigo tomando vitamina B12.

Mrs. B: These worked well for the few times that I used them. Definitely made my feet feel a bit better in my work shoes. The adhesive was a nice touch because I was putting them onto my feet so that I could wear them with different shoes. They seemed to hold up to washing with warm water, but be careful where you put them after because other stuff that touches them will stick instantly and you will need to peel off and rewash. They didn't last as long as I would have hoped, as they got gross after they stuck to each other by accident when I slipped them in my purse after they kept coming off my feet with some strappy open high heels I was wearing. I couldn't fix them after that.
