Zoe: Thank you 🙏🏼 for writing 25 lies for 20 something’s as well as this book. So glad I found these gems before I turn 30. I’ve been reading a chapter a night and it’s been life-changing. I’ve highlighted probably half of everything I’ve read. This book is so important to have in today’s culture and I honestly could not recommend it more, even to those in their thirties and beyond… wow.

Cassandra Martin: This book is a real pick me up for a 20-something trying to figure out life and realize it’s not a race and they’re doing just fine. I bought for my daughter but I read through it and it made me laugh and cry looking back at my 20’s realistically and now watching my daughter make her way through.

Oshie: Excuse me? Was the author following me during my twenties? Very relatable, amazing that it’s put into words.

Update:
Recommend this book to all my friends and they have to theirs. Great advice, helps get out of that rut that I thought I was stuck in. Turns out it’s just life. Read it multiple times

Nik: I bought this book originally because it sounded great and then it kind of sat on my shelf, staring at me, wondering if I was every going to actually read it. Until I finally picked it up on a whim to bring with me on a beach day in August and then I got really into it, however with the busyness of life I kind of forgot about it again until most recently. So I re-started it and once I did, I couldn't put it down. A few of my friends were like oh a list of something isn't a book and you know what maybe they are right but this book did change me for the better. It inspired me to find a passion in life, to make changes and be a better person. It also encouraged me to take small risks and to motivate me to figure out what I'm doing with my life. It helped me through some pretty tough times and I am glad that it made me feel less alone in all the confusion and roller coaster ride my twenties really are. The author, Paul Angone, is a spectacular writer and from him sharing a piece of his story with us readers made the book feel more personal and he is a truly great guy who is only looking to help others with his advice. I honestly do recommend this book to anyone in their twenties who...

Kirsty: Really enjoyed this book. Paul, the author, is religious so there are a few God references - I'm not religious myself but I didn't find it overwhelming. In fact I quite liked it. Also there is a lot of American references that I was unsure of. However - this didn't put me off. It's crazy how many things I could relate too - I can't imagine how many things a twenty-something religious, American could! I would recommend this book for anybody in their twenties - regardless of religion/nationality.

Q.W: I don't normally write reviews; in fact, this is the first review I'm writing on Amazon. But, Paul Angone deserves a lot of recognition for this wonderful creation!

The book is split up into 101 segments detailing the ins, outs and secrets of how to master the first, tentative steps into adulthood. Unlike the majority of self-help books aimed at young people, Paul Angone manages to deliver the most relevant, up-to-date and relatable advice through his stories and accounts, without a hint of self-righteousness or patronising tone. I'm 19 years old, and I know what it feels like to be spoken down to by elders.
Paul Angone assumes the role of an older brother or your favourite aunty, educating their juniors about the treacherous journeys that may or may not await them, all supported through his own experiences.

After the first few flicks of pages, I think every reader will get a true sense of how candid, likeable and funny the author is! I have never met the author, but I can relate to all of his stories, as if I knew him personally. Each of the 101 Secrets range from a few lines to a few pages; much like opening a Christmas present,or exploring a new subject, one...

Sarah Hahn: I would not consider myself a book reader. I read if I have to. However, I couldn't put this book down, so I took it to work with me and had it at my desk to look at in-between treating patients. This book works out perfectly as a pick up and put down book because you can read one secret, laugh, ponder, and feel really inspired then...da da da da your off to concur the world!

One of my 20something coworkers came up to me and reported that she couldn't help but look through it. She had seen secret #18 "A date is a date is a date is a..." "A date is not a marriage proposal. It is a romantic comedy. It's not a death sentence." that hit home with her in a funny yet profound way and she said "I gotta buy this book!"

I took this book to a 4th of July party and some of my 20something in-laws were there. I proceeded to share with them some of my favorite secrets like #10 "You grow into growing up. (Part One)" "29 signs your...gasp...and adult" and they laughed, and asked me to read more. This book is a good way to "spark dialogue" between your peers. You can then, as the author suggests, "share ideas, questions, struggles, wins, and looses with like-minded...
