MPD: Good quality and does the job, I replaced the speed shifter cable on my Kona MTB and does a super clean and effortless cut, this tool cuts the steel wire like butter highly recommended for the price and quality.

T from Tennessee/Alabama: Not used on cable yet but I have used the previous (less $) version which work OK but fully expect these to work much better as they are much beefier and have hardened jaws. Like all Park Tool items - a bit pricey but top notch quality.

M. Zimmermann: Habe mir die Zange zugelegt um an meinen Fahrrädern bei Bedarf Seilzüge & Bowdenzughüllen abzulängen.
Die Zange schneidet sehr gut und erfordert keinen großen Kraftaufwand. Eine Investition die sich lohnt.

KL90: Great item! Feels solid on the hand. Seems like it will last a lifetime. Only gripe is that cutting brake cable housing is never perfect. It’s kind of random and depends on where you end up cutting that will determine how clean of a cut you can get due to the metal coil. Regardless, I still have to go back and clean up the housing for a nice flat finish. I was thinking of the venzo but ultimately decided to just spend a little more for Park. Not too shabby. Don’t think there is a plier tool that will do the job perfectly. Dremel would work well but it gets hot and can melt the housing if no cooling applied.

Pickers: Forget about imitation cable cutters ( apart from Halfords ones which aren't bad tbf) these are the best & at a good price - seen for £50+ elsewhere
