Phunkogenes: First couple strips took multiple tries. Went back to my Walmart backups and they worked the first time every time. These are not recommend for professional use.

Miles: For the money, these work great. No different than the Southwire or Greenlee brands but half the cost.

phillip anthony browning: This style of wire stripper is a common design, a lot of people use the one made by Klein that has the same mold. This includes screw cutters for 6/32 and 8/32 screws. This style is also copied by companies like harbor freight, southwire there's a bunch of other cheap versions. I've been an electrician since 1984, so like most electricians I buy good quality stuff but every now and then we'll try to save a buck on things like wire strippers. So because I use screw cutter sometimes I always like this type. I bought a few of the knockoffs of this design, the inexpensive red handle harbor freight version, that version the handles came off and they got dull very quickly. I bought the southwire version, but again it seems to be made of thinner metal. Every now and then we are forced to have to work in hot situations on service calls (some guys will lie and say they never do this but you're going to be put in a position to do it sometime if you're an electrician for any given amount of time) so the Southwest strippers if they're just barely hit they are pretty much gone or they're going to be out of alignment because of the thinness of the metal. The best version I found wasnt Klein...

Tony Wang: I originally purchased this tool without much thinking or looking. I was just looking for something to help make some wiring work easier. Since I've gotten it, it has taken me through projects in the home, car and my hobbies. Despite the simple curve, it has a wonderful grip to it. I often find it very easy to hold despite having to maneuver this tool through small spaces. On the actual tool itself there is a pair of pliers at the tip (for gripping things) the wire stripper for different gauged wire in the middle and a cutter close to the point of pivot. The stripper itself works very well allowing you to strip using one hand. I found quite useful for home and car related wiring allowing me to pretty easily and quickly strip a dozen wires and prep them for connection or soldering. It does a great job with harder or soft, thick or thin, rubber coatings on wires. The cutter near the point of pivot is a wonderful cutter and it consistently surprised me with how thick of a wire it can cut. For reference, even the largest gauge wire that you can strip using this tool, is pretty effortlessly cut by the cutter. And over my year or so of use, the cutter is still sharp. And finally the...

John Baumhartner: I like these strippers. This is my 2nd pair. The first pair I had for over 3 years. I use them everyday.
I dropped the 1st pair somewhere on the job site.
Thats the only reason I had to get new ones.
The only issue with these is they do cut into the copper a little bit. I just use the 12 guage cutter for 14. And the 10 Guage for #12. It is a very small cut. But realistically they shouldn't be cutting into at all. For this I can't give them 5 stars.

Mystery_Shopper: I do a lot of wiring repairs at work as i constantly am repairing broken wires and splicing in new wires. I own a cheap pair that can barley cut 22 gauge wiring so after so much frustration i new it was time to purchase a good pair. I thought for the price can these really be good? I read the reviews and all seemed positive so decided to give them a try and wow what a purchase i can say. This has changed wiring for myself, i have automatic wire strippers but none to a good of a job as these. These shape the path for electrical and couldn't resist to say it was the best $16 i have spent in a while. These are fantastic and very sharp wire strippers as one small tug and cleanly strips the wire off the end. Especially like the cutter at the opening of the V for good leverage. Couple of other nice features are spring loaded opening, and a clip to keep them closed when in tool bag or box. These cut extremely well and have to the best cutters i have used it a while. The price makes it a worth while purchase and would recommend these to anyone looking to add them to their collection.

NNNN: I bought the Capri 20013 and the Eclipse CP-301G (half the price) together.
For half the price, the CP-301G is solid value, but if it is of no consequence I would recommend the Capri.
Note however that they cover different guage ranges. They just happen to overlap @ 20AWG for my needs.
Specific attributes tested/considered:
ergonomics:
CP-301G: skinny (flat) stamped tang. Smaller overall height due to shorter handles.
Jaws open wider (by a single jaw width - at the tip). Best if you want something lower-profile for sliding in your back pocket.
20013: Fatter molded rounded handles. More comfortable and faster to manipulate with my big man-hands.
The flat/curved arrangement works fine as the curved side finds the 'right' (desired) spot easily against the palm's meat of your thumb-muscle .
ergonomics (lock):
20013: Smoother action on the Capri, and latch has a bend making it easier (but less flush). Can be unlocked easily with index (left) or thumb (right) while holding the unit.
teeth / stripping 20 awg solid-core:
CP-301G: nice and sharp as a new tool should be.
20013: nice and sharpER. You'd not notice without them...
