Klein Tools 11061 Wire Stripper & Cutter - Strips Solid & Stranded AWG Wires

Construction_guy: A great tool as expected from a well known brand. No plastic parts to break like most strippers of this type, most others have a plastic length of cut setting arm this one is metal. I saw another review claim that part was plastic on the one he received so maybe they changed that part to metal on the newer model. Strips clean and consistently with no issues, easy to use and even works well on very thin multi strand wire. A very solid high quality tool!

JT: Makes a cleaner strip with less effort than stripper/crimper styles; but other than cutting a wire and stripping (which it does very well), you don’t get the multiple uses of the traditional stripper/crimper. This is nice as it sticks to doing one thing well rather than multiple things so-so.

Brian: It took me a while before I was ready to try a different approach to years of wire stripping, but I made the switch and I’m happy I did. You won’t nick any wires with this tool. It is faster. It allows you to change from NM I individual wires without worrying about getting in the right slot.

What about this do I not like? 14/3 that isn’t flat didn’t fit when removing outer sheathing. The other item is that the depth arm keeps coming loose and getting on the way. Haven’t found the sweet spot for keeping it out of the way.

Overall, I’m happy and would purchase again.

These work perfectly and make cable stripping very easy. Good solid wire strippers
My only wish they would strip the heavier duty round flexible cable for heaters etc as jaws don't open wide enough to accommodate the thickness

What A Great Tool!

I often find myself stripping wire for various projects around the house, such as adding outlets and rewiring electric appliances. Traditional manual strippers will do the job, but often remove too many strands on multi-stranded wire. And then there's the annoyance of usually needing to try more than one stripping hole to get the right size.

The tool has an 'Adjustable Stopper' that controls the length of the strip, and a 'Tensioning Thumb Wheel' that adjusts the distance between stripping heads to better accommodate smaller gauge wire. Adjusting the thumb wheel for smaller gauge wire does take a little bit of practice, especially if you strip wires of varying gauges with every project. But once you get the hang of it, it's a real time (and wire) saver. Wish I had one of these years ago.

Juanmi Matalía: Me gusta mucho esta herramienta, me facilita mucho el trabajo de pelar cables, no falla. Lo único que no me gusta es que la ruletilla que fija la medida del cable se afloja constantemente y la pieza que marca esa distancia molesta bastante cuando esa suelta. Por lo demás ok!
