I like the fact that the stories are short and simple for a 1st grader. Not for a beginner though, but for a child that can read a little and can sound out their words.

My little one is in kindergarten and these books are great for her to learn to read. The font size is great and the books are short and sweet. Having 25 to choose from is also a plus.

Amazingly good books! My kids 6 and 7 love them. All books are 8 pages long. Easy to read and entertaing. They also have great illustrations, nice and colorful.
