He was very excited and started cutting with kid scissors right away. Great item for down time. Or the bewitching 5:00 hour. Great skill techniques for littles. On a side note keeps them busy in one place so you can get things done.

Wish the pages were perforated, but you have to cut them out. Had lots of great cutting and pasting activities. Bought the one introduced by Highlights this year, and I feel like it is a better book.

I like a lot about this... it's limited, but it gives you great ideas on what to do next.. incorporate playdoh with similar cut patterns.. whatever... you can tear out the pages and make copies on cardstock to make it a little more challenging and something they can repeat for improving their skills!
