I bought this as a wedding present for my brother in law.
He and his wife are super into star wars and had a star wars themed wedding.
The feedback I've gotten is that it's a mixed bag.
It does make the millennium falcon out of waffle batter, so plus.
That waffle is apparently not the best though. It's a little tricky to get it right so the center cooks and the outside doesn't get too dry or burned.
It's not the easiest to clean either, it is good non stick, but there are little crevices that are a little tricky to get clean. They recommend a toothpick for that.
It does hold temperature well, and it's decently sturdy construction.
It also makes a dang millennium falcon waffle, and that's probably worth a little grief.
Especially if you can pawn off the negatives by giving it to a relative or friend and coming over for breakfast to enjoy the product.

I bought this as a star wars fan but was super impressed with the quality of the waffles. One thing to note is that you have to cook them a little longer but they are terrific.
