Levis: Good for the dollars spent on it. I Recommend it of course. I realize that there are some better ones but you will agree that they will cost hundreds of dollars more. I believe that it is constructed strong enough to support a man weighing 180 lbs like I do. Storage is very useful.

Yvonne: I’m going to start out by saying the bench looks great with my piano. The cushioned seat is nice. However the bench wobbles on level ground, not because the legs were uneven, but because of where the bolt attaches to the seat. I found this out by switching the legs that seemed to be uneven. One of the bolts was almost too short to attach the washers and nut to. The top of the leg was a few millimeters too high where the seat is. I would have been okay with the first two things, but returned it due to the third...The bench squeaked like there was a board broken. Maybe there isn’t but I didn’t want to risk that happening. I am not heavy so it has nothing to do with that. I am disappointed as it looks great, but not sure about the quality control on this item...I would not have returned it if it was not defective.

Charles: I had one of these before and have replaced it with the same one. Over time the legs will give away, but I used my last one to help launch my bull riding career. Would recommend.

Sunjeet Baadkar: It arrived with some small knicks to the wooden legs. The legs themselves were loose inside the seat upon arrival, so it probably got knocked around a lot. This also caused some tearing to the inner fabric. The fabric itself is just a cheap mesh to hide the framework anyway, so I'll probably be replacing it with something nice. And the knicks on the leg are barely noticeable, so I'll probably cover it up with some nail polish.
All in all, it's a great cheap seat. You get what you pay for and as a 170 lb male, it holds me up perfectly fine. If you're looking for an inexpensive bench to last you some years while you play the piano or keyboard for learning or fun, this is the one. If you're looking for a bench to show off the expensive piano in a nice sitting area, go for something better.

Very Interesting: I wish there was more padding in the seat, which is the only reason it didn't get 5 out of 5 stars. I can totally feel the buttons. Although, placing a couple of folded blankets on top gave it enough cushion to sit on for longer periods of time. The top material is some type of soft vinyl that protects it when something is spilled on it. It came with its own wrench, albeit a really silly little one, but I keep it in the bench to tighten up the nuts about twice now, every 6 months. Very sturdy as well. Can hold at least 250 pounds (113 kg), I bet it would hold up to 300 lbs (136 kg) even. The wood legs are still shiny black with no dings or scuffs after daily usage. Is amazing to use as a piece of bedroom furniture, near the closet or at the foot of the bed; very versatile. Lid lifts up and down smoothly, it stays up in the vertical position. The storage space can hold a lot of books.
9/10 would buy again, unless there is a huge discount on a better cushioned bench with the same design.

Helen F: I needed two for extra seating under my kitchen window, I was hesitant to buy this bench because of the reviews. These benches are gorgeous, and every bit worth the price. I expected to have to air them out when I got them but to my surprise there was NO odor what so ever. The finish is high gloss black paint and perfect no paint runs or streaks. The seat is a black leather look with buttons and that too was perfect. They look expensive for the cost. They sit under my large kitchen window on a ceramic tile floor...I have pushed them side to side with my leg several times to open and close the window they are sturdy and a 250 lb person sat on one with no problem. The seat is large enough for one adult or two small children. The seat lifts and there is about 2 1/2 inches of space. I put a utensil tray in one and keep all my kitchen gadgets in there neatly. The other one I use for a catch all. They assemble easily with the tool provided. They are comfortable to sit on. I am very pleased with my purchase, they were more than I expected for the price.

La Tasha Stephens: I really like this bench. I was scared to buy it at first because of the reviews but every time I tried a new search I ended up back wanting this one. We've had it for a month or so and my daughter really likes it. She's 15 and weights about 110. It's very pretty, I like the storage, and she likes the cushion. I will be buying another one for a friend for Christmas. It was easy to assemble. The directions are printed on the side of the box. I didn't see them at first. My daughter did. We put it together in about 15 minutes. I haven't had to tighten it and the legs haven't gotten loose. Also, none of the buttons have popped off. And there was not a foul smell when I first opened it. I'm very glad I took a chance and bought this bench.

Jason Vicente: I purchased this piano seat believing it would be sturdy enough to withstand my generous proportions. Though it hasn’t fall yet I continually have to adjust one of the front legs which bends forward and appears ready to detach itself from the bench. I use an abundance of caution, adjusting the leg each I use it, but such needy attention proves annoying at times.
