E.T. On Holliday: I've had this for a month and my 4 kitties 😸 💕 love it. They all drink from it often .And are drinking much more water than before. Even from other water bowls around the house. Rachel M.: I like the fountain, but more importantly, the cats like the fountain. The cleaning isn't too bad, but I took off a star because it is nearly impossible to get the cover off to clean inside the pump housing. It is designed to snap off, but fits so tightly, you can't get it off to clean. Overall though, it works, gives my kitties running water and they like it. I do with there was a signal for when the water gets low.

AC: It took my 16 year old cat a couple of weeks to start drinking from it. I got it because he was just diagnosed with stage 1 kidney disease and I was told it’s very important to keep him hydrated. He’s always been super picky about his water and likes it changed several times a day. I wasn’t really able to do that consistently since I work full time so I bought this in hopes of encouraging him to drink more water. Like I said, it took a few weeks but now I’ve seen him using it daily and seems to prefer it to his standing bowl of water.

nuts about music: This fountain is advertised as 'silent', which it was for the first 24 hours. Unfortunately it now has an audible motor hum. The water itself doesn't splash or make noise and I like that it is made of stainless steel.
I've only had it for a few weeks, if it lasts for several years it will be a good value for the cost.
